Mystwood Manor v0.0.4 - Basic

Hey guys,

I’m very proud to announce Mystwood Manor v0.0.4!
I don’t think if ever done so much work in one month before and I’m very excited about the development so far!

Game: download   

I’m still using some placeholders here and there (the lobby/kitchen images, Diane), but these will be updated next release.

Now I know there’s isn’t a whole lot of gameplay (yet), but with all of this out of the way I think I should be able to finish up the engine/gameplay mechanics in the next update (hopefully even in 3 weeks from now) and completely focus on the story and new content from then on.

I hope you will like it as much as I do!

Story:
• Added the hotel management introduction and tutorial.
• Added the first event for Julia (more will follow in the next update).

Gameplay/UI:
• Added a completely new UI design, with sound FX and animations.
• Implemented the first part of the hotel management mechanics (I hope to wrap this up in the next update).
• Implemented exploration mechanics (at this time there is just 1 test event, more events will be added in future updates).
• Added saving & loading (each profile will have a maximum of 10 slots).
• Implemented save encryption.
• Added a difficulty level select: “normal” & “hard” (they will not yet be unlocked in this update, but will be implemented in a future release).
• Ctrl (during dialogs) now only skips unseen dialog (unless specified differently in the settings).
• Ctrl (during hotel management) now speeds up sound and animations, in case you want to skip through it.
• Previously seen dialogs and selected choices are marked gray (this will not work for previous updates, but starting now).
• Added a hands free “auto” mode with a configurable timer in the setting.
• Added screen transitions.
• Added the settings screen to the main UI that can be opened with ESC or the top right menu button.
• Added translations for German, French, Russian, Portuguese and Chinese.
• Added mod support.
• Tarot cards now show a description of their effects when you select them.
• And a LOT more minor improvements.

Full version ony:
• Added 5 tarot card “rerolls” to the FULL version.
• Added 2 additional difficulty levels: “story mode” & “nightmare” (they will not yet be unlocked in this update, but will be implemented in a future release).

Bugfixes:
• Fixed the bug in the settings menu when closing it.

Upcoming changes in the next update(s):
• Splash screen.
• Finish implementation of the hotel management gameplay mechanics (check-out and rewards).
• Finish the event progression system for the girls (event overview screen).
• Assigning tarot cards.
• Work activity.
• More locations to explore.
• More girls to hire.
• More special events.

Thanks for the kind feedback. The current version(s) are mainly a demo of the gameplay, so Diane doesn't check out yet. In the latest version she does. In this months version (v0.1.0) a lot of guests/events/etc will be added and it will be the first "real" version that you can actually play and progress.

The artwork is incredible, truly the best I've seen so far. Man of the House (and after that Sisterly Lust from Perverteer) wich I bought on Steam (both) have got me addicted on this genre, but I have played a ton of them now and support 6 or 7 creators for a total of $500 a year (wich is kind of my max) and the artwork in this first part is unpresedented... One question though, I can only download the basic version, wich is cool, but is it correct that Dian doesn't check out yet? She's been with for 9/2 days now.
