It really does seem like the job market is mostly based on connections rather than skill so us youngins are going through it cuz most youngins are still in uni and stuff all the interviews I landed are this same kind of job .. that seems to hire you for being a desperate young job seeker and are the equivalent of begging with extra steps. hell, begging might be less humiliating than this Needless to say I've been sending dozens of waiter applications in the past hour, the shift is not even over yet🙏🙏🙏🙏

2025-09-12 17:13:26 +0000 UTCI assume you are still in Europe so i don’t know if the job market is different than in the US. But it is literal hell to find a job, the job market is so poopy dukey. Literally applied to at least 200 places (that actually viewed my application) and got three interviews in total before I got my current job. (Barely a few weeks in). Took several months of non stop applying and i got the job i have thru word of mouth rather than a job listing. Also it isn’t like i applied for jobs that im underqualified for, literally they were all ones i was either qualified for or entry level ones. Some i was overqualified in terms of the basic desires for hiring, but employers seem to not hire anyone who is under or especially over qualified
