i'm liking more the recap than the regular present time LOL, i love getou and gojo relation and the transition, for me they are great characters. I don't like too much nobara and yuji is a bit off for this story, ngl!

2023-08-04 22:26:54 +0000 UTCMan what a great arc, people call it Gojo's arc but I feel it's more about Geto than anyone. We can see how he feels so used and is visibly exhausted by all the missions he's getting sent out on, where death is almost assured for the lower-grade sorcerer's like Haibara, and his death is almost glossed over just like it would be for the higher-ups who send them out. They don't care. Then the mistreatment of those two kids by non-sorcerers in the village (the very same people sorcerers are protecting). Plus the whole Riko situation, where all of it was for nothing because there was apparently another Star Vessel anyway. And to top it all off, Gojo, the person who was once his equal, is now undeniably the strongest.

I think maintaining pace and giving everybody a refresher is welcome with how fast this show is. MAPPA can also animate new scenes and tease a little more detail into these episodes. I don’t want to say it but: “Manga readers will understand why the recap episodes are important”.

2023-08-03 20:02:46 +0000 UTCI was going to talk about "I didn't give JJK enough credit" but it was too much and in the end I couldn't connect all the ideas so I gave up lol. I'll just say that I found this arc too good especially when it came to connecting all the story we knew so far. - Haibara, the boy who promises to bring Geto a souvenir, is the one who travelled to Okinawa with Nanami in episode 3. His corpse is the one Geto sees while talking to Nanami, he seems to be the last trigger for the change of mentality. - If you go back to the previous episode (8:20) you'll notice that the first one to use the word monkey to refer to a non-sorcerer is Toji, right when he defeats Geto. I don't know if it's next week or the week after, but there will be a recap of the first season and then a recap of the movie, sure it will make it easier to remember things for those who don't want to rewatch everything, although if you're up for it it would be good to rewatch the whole movie since you saw it so early at the beginning of the first season and now you might notice a lot more details. Great reaction, have to wait until the 31st for the next arc.
