2023-11-16 16:42:36 +0000 UTCYeah it's the mixed bloods that can't leave (minus a few exceptions), those people have been living here for a very, very long time. They are native from there in a way. The human villagers that got there when the cult attacked Roswaal's domain have NOTHING to do with them, and at that point those humans were being held captive by the half-beasts as long as someone didn't resolve the trial (which would disable the barrier, enabling the half-beasts to leave). edit: Roswaal doesn't have to stay. He failed in the trial, that's why he's injured. But the barrier wouldn't keep him in the sanctuary.
