I know I'm a month late for this, been waiting for bunch of episodes so i can binge them and idk if you figured out this by now already but here you said regular clones are the real ones that can fight and shadows clones are fake. But it's just the opposite, shadows clones are the real ones and they can fight thats why at the very first episode they said it's a forbidden jutsu and regular clones are just an illusion. And the reason Naruto can make so many of them even though he needs to use way more chakra then sasuke and sakura well the reason is the nine tails.
