Thanks Miranda! Yeah I actually realized it later when reading the wiki summary that it was the Armstrong residence haha. I went back to check and could immediately tell they looked similar. Funny though cuz I think we still see some of those characters in an episode not too long from now. And thanks for the extra explanation on Yoki!

2024-01-17 21:34:48 +0000 UTCSo the whole Yoki's backstory arc is apparently fleshed out more in the manga and 2003 FMA anime but Brotherhood just showed a condensed version in a flashback here since there are too many other important plot points. The gist of it is that he was oppressing the citizens of the town with high taxes before Ed and Al stopped him and reported him to the military. (Nice tidbit is that the house you saw him break into is actually the Armstrong's mansion! It's super easy to miss but on second watch you might be able to tell from their resemblance to Alex, the girl's iconic curl and uncanny arm strength haha) Also Selim's power to 'travel' comes from his ability to cast and manipulate shadows whenever there's light. Since he can be spying whenever there are shadows that's why Hawkeye decided not to blatantly tell Mustang in that first scene. Thank you for another great reaction!
