Kuzuki and Caster's relationship is a bit weird but it is romantic in a sense. He never had any human will and accepted it as himself, but when he met Caster he changed and finally got a goal to achieve. So He finally doesn't feel empty anymore. Caster is also changed because Kuzuki is the only man who has ever given her genuine love, so her goal is somewhat changed so she can truly experience 'true' love. Both are broken but they heal each other after meeting in the most random way in this war Also, Archer's intention is to use a lot of Caster mana because Rho Aias uses a lot of mana AAAND he betrayed Rin so the command spell which stated "not to kill Shirou" isn't applied anymore You might want to forgive less explicit explanation because it is hard to adapt 20 hours per route after all π

2024-04-03 18:13:31 +0000 UTCHaha yeah I think I said "am I watching the wrong route again?" as soon as it became clear she wasn't gonna make it in that episode. I figured that it probably was the worst route for her character. Hopefully she'll have more screentime in Heavens Feel then too cuz I'll be team Ilya from the beginning haha! And this is definitely making me consider watching the 2006 anime nonetheless as well

2024-03-31 06:17:27 +0000 UTCAs you might know, the original visual novel has 3 routes, and that's the reason for underdeveloped Illya here. The Illya moment hits even harder in VN, because she gets much more "screentime" in Fate-route.
