Lucifer S3 Episode 26 Reaction

Comments

This was totally an “alternate reality”,; an excellent answer to Lucifer’s (and others’) speculation about what if God had not “put Chloe in Lucifer’s path,” Circumstances around them that were influenced by Chloe’s Dad’s death, she and Dan not meeting/marrying, etc. changed everyone’s lives, but Chloe and Lucifer still would have met, been attracted to each other, and presumably might have gotten together a lot easier than they are in “real” life. The previous episode, “Boo Normal”, happened whenever one feels best to fit it into the overall Lucifer universe, As Celia and Danelle and others mentioned, it was originally intended for Warner Brothers FOX planned season 4 until they cancelled and Netflix took over and the show’s direction changed to what we now have (Great!!) Scenes and references to events in the episode are mentioned and pop up later, particularly in season 5. Yes, on to season 4!

Linda did make the wrong choice and we did see it but maybe you missed it, Robin, but Nathan Fury was shown crying and the producer gave Linda a thumbs up sign so she did tell him about his new wife cheating- however, she did look troubled after so we knew she felt guilty. I agree with you, though, it was a fascinating 'What if' episode. I liked all the ideas worked through too. Without Chloe's influence and Dan becoming a father to Trixie, what path might he have gone down? Charlotte who herself realised in series three that she had made bad choices in her life, without the Goddess and her knowledge of celestials etc and all that happened to her she might have continued on a path to hell. Then there was Ella who told us way back in the past that she was on a path to crime and used to steal cars, it seems in this 'universe; her love of fast living 'Bonnie Genaro' as a role model kept her on that path. I am so glad that God did interfere and we ended up with the stories and characters we did and the choices they made! Onward now to series 4 which was my favourite until I watched seasons 5 and 6 and now find it hard to separate them. Let's just say seasons 4, 5 and 6 should be seen a a whole as the story moves along to a conclusion. I can't wait for your reactions.
