It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia 15x08 Reaction "The Gang Carries a Corpse Up a Mountain"

conspiracy theories are just spoiler alerts lol usually whatever is deemed crazy will be totally mainstream a few years later. the term "conspiracy theorist" was created or at least heavily used by the cia to discredit legit reporting of the criminals in government conspiring for wealth and power as they always have. i feel some of the crazier theories like flat earth or the more outlandish stuff frank was saying like the vaccine being able to read your thoughts...they spread those around to discredit the actual conspiracies. and yea you definitely made the right choice, all my friends and me who didn't take it got sick like once and it was fine. everyone i know who got the vaccine has been sick multiple times, my mom having worse health issues ever since her booster. anyway thanks for the reply, in the past when i've posted this comment i've gotten soo much hate lol wish more people in EU and US had your mindset

I totally get your concerns man. And I can definitely agree with you that recent seasons it feels like they choose to make fun of one "side" more than the other. That being said as you know I try not to get too carried away by politics nowadays and I can just laugh at it regardless. I honestly haven't looked much into all the other alternative medicine stuff that wasn't pushed by governments. I know with Joe Rogan there was a whole ordeal with him taking a certain medicine and CNN framing him with an altered picture hahaha. I'm sure some of it may have been effective and some may not. For me not getting the vaccine was a pretty easy choice. It didn't stop the spread, and in my age bracket I had little to fear from the virus anyway. Throw on top the vaccine passports and you'll get me not doing it out of sheer protest haha. In that way I feel like Frank's response is pretty natural (he likes personal freedom like me), even if it may have also been a jab at "conspiracy theorists". But honestly, I don't have the knowledge to judge whether they truly are conspiracy theorists or not. Kinda wish more people would just admit when it's not their place instead of resorting to just blaming or making fun of people. I try to respect people no matter where they stand, and if I do have knowledge on a topic I disagree with them on, I'll respectfully point out why I think they're wrong but I try to stay away from easy judgments.

yes you're right it fits frank's character, i guess i was looking at it more from the writer's intentions and how that propaganda was everywhere at the time. like ivremectin being horse dewormer is complete nonsense. it won a nobel prize for use in humans and is used not just as anti parasitic but anti viral and has been proven highly effective in fighting covid. calling it horse dewormer is like calling penicillin cow drugs since its dual use in human and animals. i just hate seeing all these lies in the show and frank pretty much representing those of us who said no and being blamed for killing charlies dad

also i have to mention the way they wrote the waitress into the ireland arc was so lazy lol its one thing if she just happened to be at the same film shoot in ireland when dee is also there, but then she just thappens to be walking by the bog in the same small town by dee's castle? ireland isn't that small 😂

At the height of the pandemic in Ireland, the county with the highest vaccination rate around 99%, Waterford, also had the highest transmission rates in the country. Numerous studies, including one by Harvard looked at populations around the world, and found the same thing over and over. Now we know it doesn’t stop the spread, but even back then, based on the logic of what we were told - why do you need me to take a vaccine for yours to work? if it really was effective like they said. if Frank was unvaccinated, how did that kill Charlie’s dad who was? And they made Frank represent the strawman kooky conspiracy theorist, representing all the people that had legit questions about a treatment that was rushed out and forced on people by very shady corporations (with the government. We know has no actual oversight because of the incestuous relationship between the companies and the FDA, who get most of their funding from them). The pharmaceutical industry have a long documented history of knowing a product is killing people, but leaving it on the market because whatever profit they’re making supersedes the fines they have to pay and in this case they had immunity. so they make frank talk about bleach and magnets or whatever to represent kooky right wing sentiment and smear all of us who had legit safety concerns, Danny DeVito is an activist he should know better. It was just so sleazy like someone from Pfizer slip that into the script. Everything else about the episode I actually enjoyed. Charlie’s dramatic bit at the end worked for me more than macs Gay dance lol it just really stings that my favorite show didn’t have balls when it mattered they went along with everyone else because Rob just listens to NPR and doesn’t realize the same corporate interests control both liberal and conservative media. That was how they manipulated all of us and made it a left or right tribal thing, so if you had any questions that means you’re a Trump supporter. really nefarious sorry for the rant!
