2025-06-19 21:36:56 +0000 UTCYou are right about the reason not being that Chloe is a special person sent by God but not quite right about the "confidence" and the "equal in his eyes" things. We get more hints about how it all works towards the end of season 3 and the special person sent by God part is fully explained/resolved in season 5. So stay tuned.

2025-05-29 20:57:43 +0000 UTCmy theory is that the "what do you really want" thing is more based on lucifer's relationship to the person rather than the person to lucifer. Like i dont think i can see lucifer being able to use his power on people like Amenadiel or Maze because they are kinda equal to him in his eyes. So i think he feels the same way towards chloe where he doesnt treat her like a "human". with others, they are just like puny humans to him so he has that extra confidence and authority which allows him to use his power on them, but i dont think he sees that in chloe which is why his powers dont seem to work around her. not necessarily because chloe is some special person sent by God or something. (im watching this for the 1st time with you so this is not a spoiler)
