i think Pain's character is so interesting and the dialogue they have in this ep has like a parallel comparison to real life and theres a breif flash of a bomb going off in what looked like Hiroshima. To pain, he believes he found the answer to ending wars. though he gained a bit of god complex along the way. to Pain, Jiraya is immature mostly because the question is posed, however jiraya doesnt have a solution yet discredits pain's solution to the dilemma because it's cruel. thus, Jiraya can't throw away his humanity while Pain did. overall, i just love how deep those characters are and how its all tying up nicely

2025-07-07 13:11:44 +0000 UTCYep, the Statues at the Valley of the End(where 1st Hokage was said to have killed Madara and where Sasuke fought Naruto) are indeed Madara and the 1st Hokage. This part on Naruto is awesome, with all the reveals and the story unraveling
