🍫General Update!! (Tiers, Perks, etc.)🍫

WOW HELLO!! So many of you signed up in the past couple of days--about 30 of you? Thank you so, so much for supporting me and the work that I value so much. ; w ;

Been wanting to do a face lift on my page for a while now. After nearly a year and a half of weekly updates, I've learned so much and took on newer, challenging works. My growth as an artist in that time has been enormous--so it's time I acknowledge that. Tiers, messaging, and a few other things haven't been updated since I started my Patreon page last year. Going to be spending time today tidying up the joint. Let's go over what I'll be fixing!

TIER UPDATES

NICE NIBBLERS - No immediate changes here just yet. Patreon firmly suggests that creators do away with $1 tiers. After taxes and Patreon fees, creators only end up with a few cents from these patrons. During the pandemic I understand that some folks can only spare $1 in these times. For now, I won't be altering this tier or the perks for a few more months yet. I'll be transparent about if and when I'll make the eventual change with this spot.

BIG BITERS - Starting today I'll no longer be hosting PSD files. My logic is that I draw primarily in Clip Studio. Having to convert the files and upload them is cumbersome and the file types don't translate well after the conversion. Layering effects and the like get corrupted instantly. I find it much easier to use Patreon as a space to host only my images and not my source files. I understand if this is a bummer for some of you, but it's something I need to do for my own sanity. I'll go ahead and finish uploading the files from last month but there will be no more PSD's for this month and onward. I appreciate your understanding with this. ; w ;

Probably at around the same time I update the price for Nice Nibblers, I will also be changing the price for Big Biters. Probably $5-6. But that won't be for a few months yet. Working day in and out on comics, I need to be kinder to myself and update these tiers to reflect my hard work. Again, this change won't be immediate! I'll send out updates and messages here before any changes go live so you can prepare.

NEW TIERS?? - I'm going to explore adding additional higher dollar tiers for people who want to offer more support and get more interesting perks in return! Lately I've been LOVING Discord a lot. I want to create my own server with its own chill vibe. Folks can hang out in channels for discussions, voice chat with me, and watch me work on whatever I'm doing!

WHEW! Man that was a beefy update. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope it's not too overwhelming. It's just time I dusted off parts of my Patreon and modernized it with what I'm doing now and pay respects to the work I've done. It's important for my growth as an artist and as a person to look inward and be proud of everything I've accomplished so far. Since Patreon is so closely linked to my goals, this is something I know I need to do. I hope you understand.
