This timelapse starts with sketching the alternative version of Wylie. When working with the Author, I provided two sketches for each character at the beginning for her to choose from. My sketches are very messy of course, so the purpose is mainly to figure out the pose for the character.
Once the preferred sketch is chosen, I can then move onto lineart, make any necessary adjustments, and then onto flat colors and then painting!
This portrait of Wylie didn't need too many adjustments. Only near the end when the publisher took a look, did they give a couple very minor adjustment requests.
