This piece was originally done for a demo in the latest TUTORIAL. But I have also been long overdue for a more Halloween or Samhain themed piece to go along with our other wheel of the year pieces. I talk a lot about the entire process in the tutorial video, so I won't go too deep in this description, lest I just end up repeating myself.
Briefly, the goal of this piece was to create something that was In a similar vein as the Autumn Equinox piece that I posted at the beginning of this month, but with some improvements to create a stronger piece of art. In the How to Effectively Practice for Improvement tutorial, we did a self-critique to identify what to focus on before I started the demo of this piece and I think it worked out pretty well!
