In this tutorial I'm bringing you along for the ride as I create the illustration Lucia Night and I'll explain what I'm doing throughout the process!
In the beginning, we start with the thought process that happens before ever picking up a pencil, including illustrations, and where some ideas formed for this illustration!
Then, I give a quick and rough rundown of some important procreate features that I will frequently use throughout the process!
After that, we launch into the illustration process from the rough sketch to the line art, to setting up the flat colors, moving into shading and lighting, paint-over, adding details and glow!
I have done my best to bring you along for the whole process and not skip any steps in this tutorial, so I hope you find it insightful and pick up some helpful nuggets along the way!
