And I love the way that Alice is drawn here... it kinda gives the feeling of a child being protected, which feels pretty much how the Queen views their relationship. Depending on how frequent incidents like these may have been during Alice's childhood, and how long the Queen has lived... I might be able to understand why her view could be stuck that way, even if it's not right
