Quick Sketches - Batch 7

Here's a bit of an art dump of the various "Quick coloured sketch" style pictures I've done over the last while and a bit!  I've included a bit of a description of them all down below also!

Britt - Ghost Tour

Here is Alterflane’s wonderful space barmaid Britt, enjoying a well-earned break, out of the bar. When she’s not at the bar, she likes to explore tourist areas of worlds that her Tavern connects to and beholding the sites they have to offer all the while checking out other locals, pubs, and Taverns along the way.

Casey - Photogenic Ferret

What’s this? An off duty superhero at large? Certainly not! I’ve never even heard of a Key Codec or a KC. This is Casey! She’s not a superhero, she’s just a ferret who somehow got big for some reason. Shame about that upsurge advertisement though. I’m fairly sure that was an accident.

This was a fun little picture to draw which came around really quickly. I tried a simpler method of drawing windows which seems to work quite nicely, and hey, Casey does look really good in big.

Caturn - Planetary Cat

At one point last year Hoop was making a whole plethora of fakemon for a romhack they were making. Many of these were suggestions from us, and one of my suggestions was a cat that could easily be mistaken for a planet. As such, here’s Caturn, the space cat.

Charity - Paw Overload

Charity is always stress testing Pantheons by her mere presence, and this picture is no different. Even though it’s a grand pantheon complex, made of many vast buildings filled with immeasurably powerful deities, she still seems to be able to fit it all under her paws with the upmost of ease.

It’s completely not relevant but I do quite enjoy the design of the pantheon here. The four quadrants separated by endless bridges with pyramids beaming light is a fun design I should do more with!

Kairos - Time for a Walk

And now for something completely different! This is Kairos, a female white Maine coon who has the ability to pause time for short amounts of time (Hence the pocket watch). She’s part of a set of characters our TTRPG group put together for a silly series. It’s good fun, and I can see how people get attached to their TTRPG characters even if they’re daft.

Kori - Castle Stomp

Here’s a second picture of Kori as requested by AC2 for Grizzlies96. Smashing up a castle. Weaviles do look good in big!

Lumimyrsky - Working at Heights

Lumi is always happy to help out the smaller folks in her town. It’s certainly a lot quicker than getting all the scaffolding set up properly. She is always adorable though and it’s fun to draw her doing things to help folks out!

Lyraeith - Treasure Island

Pirate ships, Long sandy beaches, palm trees, a giant rock shaped like a skull, a volcano, a tiny little village with nothing but dusty old taverns, this is clearly a pirate’s paradise, and therefore must be filled to the brim with treasure! And as an ex pirate turned Goddess, old habits die hard - and there’s only one to find all that treasure before someone else does. Fortunately for Lyraeith she has faster ways of digging things up that following wiggly lines on maps. Just dig up the whole thing and you’re bound to find it fast!

Midora and Aoi - Regenerating the Landscape

Here’s a picture of the lovely Midori showing Aoi how she goes about healing and repairing the scorched lands of the planet.

Okamitsune - Deepest Sea Fishing Sketch

Okamitsune has very silly ways of doing pretty much everything. So naturally, her idea of going fishing is also extremely silly! You can’t argue with its effectiveness though. Vapour might complain a bit about it, but she’s only going to get more and more “caught” from this position!

Oscar - Off the Clock

Here’s a recent sketch of Alterflane’s Superhero dog, off duty. Oscar’s just hanging around the house, perhaps having just been to the gym. He’s a really cute character though and drawing things like this instead of super detailed macro stuff can be a nice break!

Proxy - Making Their Mark

This is another older picture from the batch. This time of Alterflane’s Proxy. He’s one of the villain characters in his cast. He’s a “rabbit-rat-lizard hybrid”, whatever one of those is called!

Sasha - Downtown Eevee

Another picture from a while back, of a way too big Sasha, in a way too small street! Given that her upper body is struggling to fit through there, I’m sure her boots are having all kinds of problems…. Or rather, the street is having all kinds of trouble accommodating her boots, as there’s only one winner in that battle!

Sneasler - Alpha Transport Services

Pokemon Legends Arceus introduced Sneasler, a Pokémon that I was a little apprehensive to on first seeing the artwork for it. Seeing it in game, Sneasler looks fantastic, and I do love how they operate as a Ride Pokemon also. All the while being tall as heck, especially as Alphas! So here’s an even bigger one. I could see her offering rides across town as she just clambers over everything in a rather delightful way!

Trent - The First Listen

Trent is one of my favourite characters from Alterflane’s ever-expanding cast. He’s got a great design while being fun to draw. And speaking of ever-expanding, it’s been a running joke that he grows while listening to music, so this picture’s representing exactly this. The first listen of an album can certainly leave a dragon feeling a bit big!

Zenythia - A Platform for Troublemakers

Zenythia has a habit of showing off, all the while dealing with smaller show offs at the same time. So here she is dealing with Luca and Vap – not quite the platform for troublemaking they were hoping for!
