The local representation of the Order of the Gray Wings is called a "mission". Usually, each mission belongs to a specific "Wing" and specializes in certain tasks. For example, First Wing or Wing of Salvation missions are usually hospitals or medical laboratories. Missions of the Second Wing, the Wing of Enlightenment, are involved in educational programs and are often responsible for the custody of scientific materials.
Usually the mission is headed by a director or mission council.
