Teenage Dirtbag ch28
Added 2023-03-10 16:08:15 +0000 UTCHeyyy here's that chapter I promised. :) It's chapter 28, and I've put it in the same document as the rest of the chapters in the back half of the story. It's a pretty hefty one, too! I could maaaaybe split it in two at the break? Not certain - something else to think through once it's all done.
I am really hoping that this doesn't feel too far out of left field, but I do really like the stuff that happens here (even if I sort of figured out elements of it only recently, so admittedly it's not as established as other things that I've been planning for a while). I'm also feeling slightly cautious about the arc of the story as a whole... I think the big moment a few chapters ago felt like the climax, but I've got one more important thing in store, and I'm trying to balance things out so that we get some slightly chill moments before perhaps something not quite as chill. :) :) At the moment I'm just going to continue writing though, and we'll just have to see how it all comes together and whether that feels satisfying to read or not. Because as much as I like dropping mean cliffhangers, I legit don't want to just do so back to back to back and wind up stepping on my own story pacing, haha.

And I think everything so far is perfectly reasonable. The three being together is perfect and Quinn and Mac gave me gay vibes from the start. And the teacher is going to get what has been coming for him since the beginning, I hope!
