Added 2021-10-07 08:52:24 +0000 UTCA bit of a start to finish process here with the main piece. I usually delete the initial sketch layers but they survived this particular psd, so here's how it goes, though the initial gesture sketch is lost. It's the usual rough to detailed business you see with all artists. One of the big important bits of the final sketch are all the lines that aren't in the inks that describe the middle of the form and its roundness. This provides reference for the light so that the character has good volumes.
