Text post: future plans, blog post

Given the slowdown of my production I think its fair to let y'all know what I'm planning on doing, when where and how.

As long as my shoulder hurts I will continue to be slow. I'm working on getting it fixed but the red tape is crazy right now.  

In my previous posts I talked about focusing on product and I'd like to discuss a bit on what that means and how I'll be dividing my art in the future posts and what I can do for you. This is going to be a lot of boring technicalities. There's a few categories I'd like to focus on:

1. Art that goes on stuff:

Prints, dakis, woodcuts, pins (still coming as free reward for patrons) and whatever else I can get manufactured.

2. Art that gets attention and expresses me:

All art has a bit of me in it, but there's art I could do forever and this includes jackals, horses and fun fan art. In the past I've done a bunch of pinups and they *were* quick to do, quick being a day of work. Nowadays its a bit slower and I'm left with time to brood. So, what can I do with the time I can't art in but can do stuff in? Well, write. Art that needs writing? 

Comics.

Video games.

Animation

While I'd like to learn all three, among them, the one I want to push on this patreon is comics. Jackal comics, horse comics. Silly things, serious things, sultry things. I'd like to build a world and giving more time to the non art side allows for this. 

3. 3d art.

This is an investment in the future. It doesn't require as much shoulder work and can be used to make products and neat things and possibly irl work if everything goes to hell. I'll dabble here and there but its difficult to say where 3d will go.

What does this mean for you?

Sadly, fewer posts. 

I'll post when there's works in progress, sketching, storyboarding, comic panels or 3d sculpted stuff, but these days I have enough art time for one project per day and I have as usual, art for conventions, the sfw patreon, and side projects to do this means I can't be as prolific as I was. I hate that. 

Art is what I do for a living, be it furry smut or professional illustration, I like doing the art. I'm very grateful to everyone who helps me do this. All of you. Anyone who commissions me. Anyone who buys a $2 sticker or a $100 blanket. It means the world to me that I get to draw. 

I'll try to do polls when I can for what comes next or neat things to draw but it will likely be very infrequent. 

If my posts aren't enough for you or the art isn't what you wanted, feel free to unsubscribe. Who you support is your choice and I can't ask you to bear the burden of my injury. I'll still ask in the future when I get to it what your free pin preference is, even if you've left for months at that point.
