Agreed that we don't need more Overlord clones, and I think having Cid get sealed away or just gone from the story for a bit would do wonders for the series.

I do think that they went overboard with the fanservice shots... but I also believe that that was part of the parody aspect of this show. Seeing the inner lives of all these girls, as you do in the LN, would make it less of a parody and more of an Overlord clone. I like Overlord! But I don't think we need more Overlord stories. I think if this was going to be a serious story we would have to disappear Cid, and have Shadow Garden continue "his work" toward his stated goal - that would make this story its own thing.
