One thing you didn't mention about this episode is that it also exposes all the little corruptions that this world must be full of. For this case to come to light in this way, the following train of coincidences had to have happened: 1. The med students must have been in a rush to not switch the labels on the organs in the first place. 2. The parents of the girl needed to want to thank their donor 3. The donor's parents must have been willing to start drama 4. Both children needed to have a common point of contact who could see the inconsistencies and who... 5. had to have a personal contact who had broad extralegal powers to identify these med students before they disappeared into the wind with no concrete evidence linking them to the case. That's a pretty wild set of coincidences, so it stands to reason there's a lot of stuff like this that goes on and that won't come to light.
