It's unfortunate, but even without that context the Tachikomas grew on me more than I expected. Must be a combination of the child-like voice and genuine curiosity for the world that makes these robot spiders so endearing.

2023-07-06 14:00:59 +0000 UTCThe Tachikoma Theater bits at the end of all the episodes are mostly just this - the Tachikoma discussing philosophy in a very silly, virtual setting. It's a shame the sub does not translate those bits. It makes a big difference as to how you think about and how much you empathise with the Tachikomas when you get to this episode.
