Poor Batou, left in the dark again while the Major just takes care of business. I like how this episode plays with perspective - and that Aramaki doesn't seem to blame himself for not acting on Saori's initial request. The ending would have been very different with a whiny Aramaki talking about if he'd only heard her out this would have been a lot less dramatic.
