Brief update - size of episode 7

This is a quick update regarding massive size of episode 7 file. Since this is the longest episode to date, and has tons of shiny dramatic visual effects in it, size of the file on MEGA is also huge - 5Gigabytes. That is a lot to download. I can see how some people might have problem with that.

So I did something else. I have re-rendered that file with more efficient codec (H.265 rather than H.264) - and reduced file size from 5 to 1.8 GB. Quality loss is almost imperceptible.

So why don't I always use that better codec to reduce size of all files by half or more? The answer is that I did once - around the time I was making Cthulhu episode 1 - and immediately got complaints of video stuttering or freezing during playback.

That high efficiency and compression comes at a cost, as some weaker computers (and phones?) will have big problems decoding and playing that video smoothly. And so I had to resign myself to using old codec.

So, if you want, you can download that 1.8GB version, it is no different than 5GB in terms of content, but if you have problems during playback, you'll need the bigger version.

So choose the one that's right for you - decent, newer hardware should handle the compressed file fine.

Also one other, different thing. I have felt that the part with cultists, Tia and the slimy thing she brought back from other realms focused too much on story, interrupting the nsfw scenes too often.

So I combined all those nsfw 'action' scenes together into 1 min long video - it has no story scenes and very little talking, so it is more suitable for, you know, when you want to focus on those nsfw elements. It is also on MEGA, episode 7 folder.
