Keeping up with the Cultists (Cthulhu ep8 begins)

Please excuse that terrible Kardashian pun in the title, but it is appropriate, as we are returning to the city of terrible nightmares in eighth episode of my Call of Cthulhu series. But first, the technical stuff.

What DID change, however, is the passwords file attached to this post - and that's because I added new folder with new zip file inside, and you'll need password from below this post to open that file. Folder and file in question are named Call of Cthulhu 8 - Revelations.

There is a lot to talk about this time. See, it has been just over a year since I made the first episode of Cthulhu - that was early fall of 2021. It's not like I had a perfect plan of where this series will go, but I did see the general direction and had some decent ideas, and I expanded upon them as series progressed and I learned new tricks in video making.

That being said, a lot of stuff that happened throughout the series remained shrouded in mystery. I believe I've done somewhat decent job with the story in episodes 2 to 5, the Realm of Flesh arc, and the amorphous thing residing there, but less so with the cultists in the city.

What's with their rituals? How could they (kind of) summon Cthulhu? And what are their long-time plans? It is time to learn more about the cult itself. After all, this episode is named "Revelations" for a reason.

Not everything will be explained in this episode, but it will be heavily story-focused. Cult members, Tia, who is trapped in cult's lair (and has some real problems) as well as certain squid-faced chap will all play a part.

As for NSFW elements, there will be a lot of nudity, but not that much "action" that is often associated with nudity, to the point where I think I should add some "happened in the city" interjections with "action" scenes, so that you don't feel cheated, if you are here for NSFW elements only.

But none of that should suggest that this episode will be a pleasant family-friendly affair. After more light-hearted 2B and Borderlands videos, we are now back to pitch-black horror. Cultists are all twisted in some way, the eldritch forces behind them are even worse, and there are too many opportunities for cruelty...

Alright, wall of text over, first 5 minutes of episode 8 are now on Mediafire. Seeing how it ends in the middle of a conversation, it is kind of awkward, but I plan to work on the plot segments quickly, so that there is a movie with full story to download soon.
