Glider was once the most admired mare in her village, celebrated for her beauty, until a magical accident left her face disfigured. She never spoke of the incident, but the loss broke her spirit, and the villagers admiration faded. Her fiancé fled a day before their wedding, and her passion for dressmaking vanished in the years of depression that followed. Eventually, her aunt offered her a job at the morgue. Glider accepted, believing it suited her now “freakish” nature. Unexpectedly, she excelled and discovered a haunting gift: not only could she see the dead, she could hear and speak to them as well. Great- she's now a bigger freak!

Glider has always loved beauty and still does. Though she can no longer bear to look in a mirror, she continues to dress herself in elegant garments and accessories she crafts by hand, clinging to fragments of the life she once had. While much of her daily life remains unchanged, one thing has: she now hates eating. The act is a painful reminder of her disfigurement, each chew forcing her to feel what she no longer dares to see.

Strength & Weaknesses
The mare is highly skilled in her crafts, whether working with fabric, handling cold bodies, or baking, she excels with quiet precision. Despite her delicate appearance, she has a surprisingly strong stomach and knows how to defend herself, even with a gun. However, as her confidence in social situations fades and her once-sweet personality grows increasingly bitter, her ability to connect with others has sharply declined.

Personality & Value
Glider is a mare who treasures femininity and beauty, firmly believing appearances DOES matter. Once socially graceful and expertly attuned to expectations, she often wore kindness like a well fitted costume. After her disfigurement, she withdrew, her rudeness becoming more deliberate than accidental. Simply put, Glider isn’t nice, she’s sharp, pretty, and knows exactly how to play the game when it suits her, its just that she knows she lost and doesn't feel like playing any more.

• Iv drawn her before but it came out so ugly I dont think I posted it- but maybe I did...

• I was just in that "sickly fairy pale thin" OC vibe again and made Seam

• She used to be called "Patch Work" but I already had a often used OC named that!

• Glider has a THICK western accent that would put the entire apple family to sHAME!

• Her auntie is named Silken Rest and she owns a morgue :)

• I like to think she doesn't like talking anymore because she keeps drooling-

📝Creators Notes
I LOVE CHARACTERS WITH FUCKED UP FACES. Them having weird pale features is just a whole bonus. This was 100% just an aesthetic vent character- I try not to make those too often but I really love how Seam Came out~~
