New Year Update

I've been really quiet here and as a result I've lost a couple of the supporters I've had. It's understandable.

The holidays really slowed things down along with a coworker leaving last month and other things at my regular job. Since the person that left is the night shift person opposite me, I've had to take up slack by working an extra day and extra hours. While that's not bad for my regular paycheck, it does mean less time working on art overall. The small Wacom Intuos I have to work off my laptop works 40 percent of the time for one reason or another. And when I do get it to work, the small area tends to get my hand cramped after a couple hours.

I had hoped the company I worked for would have a profit share for us that I might be able to use to get something better, but we got nothing. We didn't get the usual Christmas party either. Apparently there's been some hangups for them too.

Hopefully, my tax return will be enough to put toward the Wacom Mobile Studio I've been eyeing. It would make arting away from home so much easier if it's at least as good as working on my desktop setup. But that won't be for a few months. And by then I suspect they'll have hired another for night shift and I will get a better schedule that's more condusive to working on art.

In the meantime, I have been doing some writing and have recently been working on concepts with a writer. He's been helpful in bouncing ideas off of and he has some experience writing TF stuff. I've been able to flesh out more within the past week than I have for quite a while. So I'm actually making some progress toward regular personal work.

I'll keep the Patreon open since I don't consider things dead yet. It's just been a lull in activity. I should be able to get things going again soon. Thank you all for your patience and support! :) Have a Kiki/Haley picture for now.
