Ch. 132 Abducting Symbiotes

In an instant, like a teleportation, Russell rushed forward to one of the symbiote agents. Drawing from his memory, he didn't hold back and delivered a powerful punch.

Thud!

A dull thud, like a war drum, resonated instantly.

Although he had temporarily closed off his vision, Russell was certain that his punch had struck the symbiote agent's chest.

The terrifying force flowed through his fist and hit the symbiote agent.

The symbiote agent, who was extremely powerful to Bucky and the others, was sent flying by Russell's punch.

The agent he hit opened its mouth full of sharp teeth and let out a miserable cry.

Subsequently, the agent flew backward and collided with the corridor wall, leaving a massive impact crater on the wall.

After sending one of the symbiote agents flying with a punch, Russell didn't hesitate and continued his assault.

Although the symbiotes' bonding had granted these three S.H.I.E.L.D. agents an unprecedented level of strength, they were still not considered strong in Russell's eyes.

Leaving aside the fact that these symbiotes were separated from the symbiote dragons and weren't complete, their own physical abilities were vastly inferior to Russell's.

Russell might not know exactly how powerful the original symbiote dragon was, but he was certain that there was a significant difference between the smaller symbiotes separated from the dragon.

This was a question whose answer could be inferred without testing.

With his vision and hearing closed off, Russell painted the current scene in his mind based on his memory.

Subsequently, the shield formed by the symbiote on his left hand struck one of the symbiote agents' necks like an axe.

The symbiote agent, much taller than Russell, was harshly hit in the neck by the shield, involuntarily taking several steps back.

A visible wound appeared on the robust black neck.

While the wound on the neck might seem significant, it wasn't lethal for the symbiote agent.

Even if its neck were broken, the symbiote agent could rapidly recover.

Russell was well aware of the astonishing regenerative abilities that came with symbiote bonding.

His goal was never to defeat the symbiote agents by damaging their necks.

As the symbiote agent stumbled back, its neck wound began rapidly healing before his eyes. At that moment, Russell struck again.

His right hand lightning-fast grabbed the symbiote agent's neck, just like grabbing its collar, catching the healing wound.

While grasping the wound, Russell restored his vision and hearing.

He had closed off his senses earlier only to ignore the effects of the flashbangs. He had never intended to keep them closed.

At the moment his senses were restored, in front of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and Hydra soldiers, Russell executed an extremely exaggerated attack.

Swoosh!

He exerted force with his right hand, tearing through the agent's "skin" like ripping cloth, revealing the frenzy of small and large black tendrils underneath.

After ripping through the "skin" of the symbiote agent, Russell saw the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent inside.

It was a fair-skinned white man with blonde hair, radiating an air of righteousness.

Although the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent had a very righteous appearance, giving off the impression of a good person, Russell didn't hold back because of that.

Thud!

He struck with his left hand, and the shield hit the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent like a speeding car.

Encased within the black symbiote, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent was instantly sent flying and crashed into his colleague behind him.

Without a host, the symbiote in front of Russell instantly dissolved into a pool, falling onto the floor.

This works too?

Seeing Russell first tear through the symbiote agent's skin and then send the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent inside flying, Natasha, Barton, and the others found it difficult to believe.

They knew the symbiotes had weaknesses, but they hadn't imagined that it would be possible to forcefully sever the connection between the symbiote and the host using this method.

It was understandable that they didn't think of this.

Without the symbiote, Russell wouldn't know about this method either.

On the surface, the symbiotes could bond with all flesh and blood creatures.

Strictly speaking, that wasn't incorrect.

However, it didn't mean that the symbiotes could perfectly bond with the hosts.

Matching was important between the symbiotes and the hosts.

It was similar to bone marrow transplantation—the two sides needed to be perfectly matched for the desired effect to occur.

An unsuitable host wouldn't only prevent the symbiote from fully exerting its power, but could also harm the host due to the bonding.

Forced bonding might even lead to the host's death.

Of course, even with a less than perfect match, short-term bonding was possible. The cost might be the host getting injured or killed.

If S.H.I.E.L.D. had researched for a longer time, they might have discovered this issue.

Unfortunately, they were a bit too impatient.

While they had indeed created symbiote agents, it was evident that these three S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were not perfect matches for the symbiotes.

Having dealt with the symbiote, Russell looked at the one symbiote agent he hadn't attacked.

Just as everyone thought this symbiote agent would attack Russell, it did something no one expected.

Instead of attacking, this symbiote agent turned around and ran.

Although this symbiote agent fled resolutely and quickly, Russell didn't give it the chance to escape.

In the blink of an eye, Russell caught up with it.

Then, another brutal scene unfolded—Russell tearing apart his opponent with his hands.

Using the same method, forcefully severing the bond between the symbiote and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Russell abducted the second batch of symbiotes.
