Ch. 335 Russell Takes the Lead

Although Russell had tried his best to explain what a divine realm was in terms that Kara, Gwen, and the others who had never encountered magic or divine power could understand, they still found it quite perplexing.

After Russell's explanation, the only thing they knew for sure was that Russell's power had noticeably increased.

As for the rest, they couldn't comprehend it and didn't understand what was really going on.

But Russell didn't expect them to understand. All he wanted them to know was that he now had control over a divine realm.

After explaining the concept of the divine realm to Kara and the others, he continued, "However, using words to describe it, you may not fully understand what it's all about."

"So, I intend to take you personally to my divine realm to see for yourselves."

With that, Russell activated the divine power within him.

After establishing the divine realm as a Skyfather-level being, his divine power was no longer divided into Sun Divine Power and Thunder Divine Power; it had merged into one. However, when needed, he could still convert his divine power into Sunor Thunder Divine Power at any time.

Upon hearing Russell's words, Kara and Gwen and the others looked expectant.

As they widened their eyes and looked at Russell with anticipation, he smiled and snapped his fingers.

Immediately, a vast surge of divine power emanated from Russell.

Before Kara and Gwen and the others could react, they had arrived in Russell's divine realm, the City of Sin.

This is...

Suddenly pulled into the divine realm by Russell, Kara, Gwen, and the others wore expressions of disbelief.

They were not ordinary people but superheroes with extraordinary powers.

Yet, even so, they couldn't fathom how Russell had done it.

All they saw was Russell snapping his fingers.

And then, they were in Russell's divine realm.

At this moment, they stood in the hall of the Lord's Manor, looking bewildered at this medieval-style hall.

"You are the first humans to enter my divine realm."

"However, you are not the first beings to come to the divine realm from Hell."

"When I left Hell, I brought some demons from there to my divine realm."

"They are loyal demons to me, so if you encounter them, do not mistake them for monsters."

Russell, seated on the Lord's throne, said to Kara and the others in the hall.

After hearing his words, Kara, Gwen, and the others nodded.

Then, they eagerly left the hall.

After they had all left the hall, Russell glanced at Diana standing beside him.

He raised his right hand and snapped his fingers once again.

The next moment, a throne of equal size and style to the Lord's throne, but with a softer appearance, appeared on his right side.

"I will grant you some of the permissions of the divine realm later."

"According to the magical texts, you will be my lesser divine being."

Diana possessed divine power herself. If she hadn't inexplicably arrived in this world, she would likely have become the new Goddess of War in the DC Universe.

After hearing Russell's words, Diana nodded silently.

After Diana had seated herself on the adjacent throne, Russell immediately activated the authority he had imprinted within the divine realm and granted her some of the divine realm's permissions.

Diana had a significant amount of divine power within her. Although she hadn't fully awakened this divine power, she used it as if it were just energy.

But in any case, the divine power within her was genuine.

While she hadn't truly awakened her divine power or embedded authority within it, she could easily use the divine realm's authority that Russell had granted her.

Russell had not only granted her some of the divine realm's authority, but he had also given her the right to use some of his own authority.

Now, he could easily bestow his power upon others, much like the mythical gods granting power to their worshippers.

Moreover, he could bind his authority to his worshippers through his own authority.

When his worshippers faced danger, he could send his consciousness and power to them, allowing them to use his body for combat and assisting them in overcoming the danger.

However, Diana probably wouldn't need Russell's protection. Russell wouldn't let Diana face such danger in the first place.

After completing all this and giving Diana some time to adapt, Russell thought for a few minutes.

Then he said to Diana, "Um... I spent over half a year in Hell, and you know I'm not the type to sleep alone, so I found two companions in Hell."

Russell tried to explain this matter using a tone and words that Diana could accept. Even though this was his divine realm, and his power now surpassed Diana's, he still felt a bit uneasy talking to her about this.

Diana didn't mind him being with other women outside.

But Diana had a clear requirement: if he wanted to be with other women, he had to inform Diana in advance.

In simple terms, he needed to report to Diana first before he could take other women into his harem.

However, because he had spent the past half year in Hell and couldn't contact Diana in the mortal world, he had to bend the rules slightly and seek forgiveness later.

"Companions? You mean you found two succubi, right?"

"Or did you find the rare Desire Angels that are seldom seen in Hell?"

In Hell, there were only a few types of demonesses that matched human aesthetics.

Diana wasn't ignorant of Hell; she had sent many demons to their doom.

Among these demonesses that matched human aesthetics, succubi, pleasure demons, and Desire Angels were the most famous and seductive.

"They are pleasure demons, named Heather and Selena."

"They are currently in the backyard of the Lord's Manor. I can take you to meet them now."

Seeing that Diana didn't immediately get angry, Russell finally breathed a sigh of relief.

It seemed that Diana was quite understanding.

"No need, I can go on my own."

As soon as she arrived in the divine realm, Diana sensed the presence of dozens of demonesses in the backyard of the Lord's Manor.

She had initially thought that all these demonesses were Russell's companions in Hell.

Hearing that Russell had only found two of them, her mood improved considerably.

It was just two pleasure demons, after all. Nothing to make a big fuss about!

"Well then, I won't accompany you."

Russell also didn't want to witness a showdown between Diana and Heather.

"Alright!"

Diana stood up and, through the divine realm permissions that Russell had just granted her, disappeared from Russell's sight.

After Diana had gone to the backyard, Russell suddenly remembered something. He immediately used his authority to inform all the demons within the divine realm of Diana's identity and the identities of Kara and the others.

After completing all of this, he continued to focus on adapting to the Skyfather-level powers he had just acquired.

For some reason, every time he came to the divine realm, he couldn't help but sit on the Lord's throne in the hall.

After looking at his current throne for a moment, he thought for a few seconds.

Then, he slightly modified the appearance of the throne he was currently sitting on.

The external appearance of the throne was only slightly modified.

He focused on modifying the capabilities of the throne, transforming it into a representation of his divine identity, the Divine Throne.

To put it simply, he established a central hub on the Divine Throne that connected to all the authorities in the divine realm.

After establishing this central hub on the golden Divine Throne, which already had a majestic presence, it became even more imposing.

Or rather, it gained an indescribable sense of superiority.

Although the Lord's throne had transformed into the Divine Throne with an air of divinity, Russell felt comfortable with it.

The Divine Throne exuded an aura of a divine being's superiority, purely because Russell had become a Skyfather-level being.

He couldn't feel uncomfortable with his own aura.

Sensing Diana and Selena's conversation and confirming that they wouldn't start fighting, Russell sat on the newly modified Divine Throne, continuing to adapt to his Skyfather-level powers.

....

Time flew by.

In the blink of an eye, three days had passed.

During these three days, Russell had remained inside the divine realm.

Not just him, but Diana and the others had also stayed within the divine realm.

Although Russell's divine realm was currently only the size of a city, it expanded a little every day.

The expansion of the divine realm's territory was closely tied to the increase in Russell's own power.

After becoming a Skyfather-level being, Russell noticed some unexplainable changes in his Kryptonian physiology, which had been with him for a long time.

Before he had gained Sun Divine Power, he could only strengthen himself by basking in the sun continuously.

Once he awakened Sun Divine Power, his Kryptonian physiology and Sun Divine Power began to mutually enhance each other.

This was the situation when Russell was still at the quasi-Skyfather level.

Now, as he had become a true Skyfather-level being and had done so by establishing himself as a Divine Spirit, the situation had changed somewhat.

If he used to passively absorb energy to strengthen himself through his Kryptonian physiology, now, with his physical form transformed into a Divine Spirit form, the retained Kryptonian physiology showed signs of actively absorbing other types of energy.

And it seemed to accept all forms of energy willingly.

Fortunately, the divine realm had fully formed and served as a crucial foundation for Russell as a Divine Spirit.

Otherwise, his Kryptonian physiology might have actively absorbed the energy within the divine realm, causing the demonic power and divine power that had already materialized into the City of Sin to be converted back into energy.

Then, it would be absorbed by his Kryptonian physiology.

After realizing this, Russell felt like he might understand why Skyfather-level being were far more powerful than average divine beings.

Leaving aside their rank and essence, just the ability of their bodies to actively absorb other forms of energy was unreasonable.

For a Skyfather-level being in this state, it was like a constant training regimen, with their strength always in a state of improvement.

To satisfy his body's energy demands, Russell had to stay in the energy-abundant divine realm for extended periods, allowing the divine realm to continuously absorb energy from the astral realm, thus keeping him in his most comfortable state.

Otherwise, if he couldn't meet his body's energy requirements, he would feel something akin to hunger.

Although this wouldn't affect his power, constantly feeling "hungry" was not a pleasant experience.

However, this brought about another issue.

His strength was constantly increasing as long as he remained in the divine realm.

The enhancement of his power led to the strengthening of his body, which in turn increased his energy demands.

Upon discovering this seemingly cyclic situation, Russell began to understand why the older Divine Spirit were more powerful.

Confirming this, the saying "old habits die hard" popped into Russell's mind.

While comparing Divine Spirit to ginger wasn't entirely appropriate, the situation was somewhat similar.

However, there was a way to break this "vicious cycle."

To solve the immense energy demands of his body, there was a simple method: actively suppressing his own power.

In other words, directly shutting down his Divine Spirit abilities.

Although shutting down these Divine Spirit abilities meant he couldn't experience the feeling of constantly increasing his power, it would prevent his body's immense energy requirements.

On the surface, this seemed like a good method.

However, it was only a temporary solution.

This method could address the issue in the short term or for a period of time. But once he reactivated these Divine Spirit abilities, his body would exhibit an even stronger craving than before, as if a starving person couldn't resist indulging in a feast.

Russell pondered many methods but never found a suitable solution.

Finally, he decided to tough it out.

So what if he needed to stay in the divine realm for extended periods or experience hunger? It wasn't a big deal.

They had all become Skyfather-level being, and if they couldn't endure even this, it would be a sign of weakness.

After spending three days in Russell's divine realm, Diana, Kara, and the others experienced significant improvements in their powers.

The energy-rich divine realm constantly nourished their bodies and passively enhanced their strength.

Creatures that lived in high-energy environments generally became more powerful than those in low-energy environments. Moreover, Diana, Kara, and the others were intelligent human beings.

After staying in the divine realm for a few days, Diana, Kara, and the others had plans to stay permanently.

Russell, of course, didn't object to their decision.

Not only did he bring Diana, Kara, and the others, but he also made a special trip back to Earth to bring No. 3 and Grendel to the divine realm.

As for Godzilla, he temporarily left him behind.

It wasn't that Russell had forgotten about Godzilla; it was just that the massive size of Godzilla wasn't suitable for living in the City of Sin.

Russell planned to bring Godzilla to the divine realm once its size increased, and environments like mountains and oceans had developed within the realm.
