Dear citizens, firstly, we'd like to apologies for not updating the past week or so. We were away, traveling. We are back now and the work goes on, so we wanted to show a sneak preview of the new skills we are working on - new punishments and items for the slaves. This one is finally working and it's an X cross you can tie your slaves now and whip/punish them. We are also debating if this should be a sort of a public punishment, so you can leave your slaves like that on the public square for all to see. So far.. we are pretty happy with how this looks and feels and hope you'd get to enjoy that.
Rome did hit a bit of a hardship this month though. Without getting into detail, one of our Consuls (developers) is going through a rough personal issue. We can't say much about it, but we do want to be honest and upfront as usual and just say that this might effect our development speed during the upcoming month. It sucks, we know, but it's one of those cases where we just hope you guys can understand, and trust us we are working very hard to help in any way we can and get the development speed back on time as we did so far. As mentioned, we can't say much about the specifics, but we'll post a more elaborate post on the matter in a few days. In any case, the delay should not be huge (we hope no more than a few weeks). Hope you guys can understand that - crap sometimes just happens in life and we as a team try to do whatever we can to support a friend without harming the development as much as we can.
