That trunks and future gohan fight was one of their many battles against the androids. That was one of the fights that wasn’t shown in the movie.

2024-04-08 11:12:18 +0000 UTCim guessing trunks was killed easily by imperfect cell because he wasnt strong enough to defend himself. trunks in cells timeline didn't train in the HTC so he was weak compared to cell but if imperfect cell went up against this trunks he would be easily slaughtered by trunks because he trained in the HTC with his pops
