The entire Z fighters and especially sayians are rare exceptions. There's very few mortals out of trillions in the universe who display high levels of strength. It especially makes sense considering how recent this power rise is. Supreme kai is ancient, he wouldn't have foreseen mortals with their strength in a 50 year gap

2024-07-01 21:25:17 +0000 UTCI know they’re still kids but you can really see the difference between Goten/Trunks and kid Gohan here. They’re excited about a world ending threat like Buu. All still fun and games to them. They’ve never experienced a world ending situation before so they still have their innocence. Unlike Gohan who was exposed to it non stop at a young age. This will be made apparent later on in the saga, they don’t take this seriously like they should after shit really hits the fan.

Thats why in the edited version back in the toonami days he was always called by his first name Hercule and not Satan but you guys are watching an unedited English dub.
