It’s been so long since they watched the Saiyan arc that they forgot about Kaioken lmao. Kaioken is a double edged sword technique. It allows you to cheat power scaling altogether, creating a super self of yourself, but it also completely destroys the user’s body depending on how much it’s used. That’s partially what sent Goku to the hospital after the fight with Vegeta, aside from being crushed by a Great Ape. Goku’s gambling with his own life rn combining that with a God form.
