Mortal Kombat 1 Kano for G8M

MK1 Kano is here. Setup for Iray rendering.

1. After Loading Kano delete Genesis 8 Male Eyelashes when applying the outfit as it comes with eyelashes just over the left eye.

2. The Top Cloth is able to be simulated using dForce just make sure that the Sim_Cloth surface is the only one with Dynamic Strength applied. I tried getting the Bottom working but wasn't able to. I may revisit this and try to get it working at a later point.

3. I added an Eye LASER and the Knives are separate props that are rigged to the shins. You can use them as props but they will move around on their own if you move the legs without unparenting them first.

V1.1 : Fixed weight mapping issues and darkened his outfit slightly to look more realistic. Also added his prop knife.

Placed morphs in the correct directory.

I totally hear you on that, sometimes dForce does what it wants regardless of the settings used. Most of the stuff I have released on my page uses dForce, but there are some that just wouldn't hang correctly, like there was a wind node in the scene when I know there wasn't, or it would just all explode randomly. those I had to rig to be poseable.

Oh that is a good tip. Much better than having to create a new surface for each area you want adjusted. I already kind of gave up on testing this stuff for dForce compatibility though. A lot of effort for something that may or may not work when I can just rig it and know it'll work.

I have a tip for you when it comes to dForce. I use it all the time and I found that if I add dForce to an item, I can then with the item selected add a dForce modifier weight node and then paint what i want to have dForce effect with red and then CTRL and paint the rest blue and it works best that way. like with pants I will make the entire item red and then ALT Paint the waist band to remove the dforce weight and repaint it while holding CTRL. in surfaces I change bend stiffness to .25 and get some pretty good results

Oh okay, I misunderstood and thought you wanted his outfit from the original MK. Yeah, I was planning on doing the button down shirt and slacks next.

Yes, I will do Johnny next. I wanted to start with the default outfits in MK1 before doing others but his OG outfit was pretty simple so I'll see if I can do them both at the same time. Also I just updated the Kano post because I somehow broke expressions after I did some weight mapping to the face if you use the '01 - Load MK1 Kano' option. You can still pose the face manually but I will try to get that fixed tomorrow.
