His scabbard is attached to his coat belt with a rigid follow node and his sword is parented to the scabbard. You can unparent the sword from the scabbard to use it as a prop.

Yes! I was hoping and waiting for a Kenshi Gen8 model from you! I have a Gen9 Kenshi model, but I'm really not a fan of the Gen9, so I was holding out that you would hopefully provide a different one. I've been using quite a few of your models and I really appreciate the extra rigging you do for the clothing as well; it makes it a lot easier to pose stuff. Thank you so much!
