You don't just punch with your arms, You grip the floor with your feet, you pivot your back foot, you rotate your hips with your legs, you move your spine with it and your Arms are at the end of the whip of muscles to hit your opponent. Yang would not be very effective as a brawler if she did not have good leg muscles.
