BTS Update #12 - First 10 minutes of Demo/Prologue
Added 2023-09-25 17:30:44 +0000 UTCHere's the first 10 minutes, uncut, unedited (except loading screens). This is the only time this much talking happens, and it's to introduce the characters.
- In the car auction, I was looking for a car with a black/grey interior, which is why I passed on the beige interior car. Interior colors in used cars are random and cannot be changed.
- Texture changes are more visible in this clip, more detail in the roadlines, road and road wall textures.
- The amount of AI humans standing around at the start of your race changes with the amount of money you are betting. So since this is an early for not much money, there's only 1 guy watching.
- The racer call dialogue changes depending on how much rep you have. The racer on the phone saying "Who the fuck are you" is a dialogue option that will only play for low rep.

2024-01-24 11:54:32 +0000 UTCI'm so excited for this game, I've come across one problem though. When racing as soon as you pass the other car and reach approx 50 meters away they instantly stop or seem to crash and don't recover. Has this been highlighted? Other than that its perfect.

Or if not, is it planned or can i come with that idea? :3 it could be where you can unlock a CD player for the car for purchase or something where you start out with just a radio at first ^^ would make the music added to the game not go to waste at first or something

Some cars that aren't modified that much in real life will have less bodykit options, but even then they'll still have 20-30+ parts for each category. Launch price will be about £30-$35.

2023-09-26 19:41:02 +0000 UTCI saw the "flash lights" mechanics used to start the race. Will that be used on the streets to flash racers for impromptu racing? That would bring this whole thing together for me. Give it the TXR feel but with the PA mechanics of Import Tuner Challenge being built up/ expanded on like you've done. Overall, I'm way too excited to play this. Seeing it for the first time got me to currently replay TXR3!

2023-09-26 12:32:31 +0000 UTCI love the no-filler "here's your money, here's the auction shop, here's the first meetup spot" attitude with no stopping the world to throw tutorials at you, approach. The look-back button doing the backseat camera also made me chirp up! I haven't seen that get used in a game in forever! My only criticism is the money/rep transaction time needs to be sped up. 13 seconds being locked in place is a long time.

What I think is that being able to export textures for car stickers or vinyls! Is already something interesting, and perhaps in the future being able to import modification models or an entire vehicle! Imagining the discord community! It could even help create new modeled cars and parts that could appear in the original game! It's a method of bringing the community together, to make the game better and better together with the creator! Just a idea... And sorry for the long messages... have a great night! :)
