I have to say I am 100% with you on how disrespectful she is to Charlie. I just spent all day for the last 10 days in the hospital with my dad while he had cancer surgery. I put my husband and my kids on hold to be there. My dad was the second person I told when I was pregnant both times. He’s your Dad!! I could never tell him I’m going to a spa because I’m so sick and be next door. No. My dad is my dude and he can keep a secret. Period. And, no. She was not protecting her dad. She calls him Charlie. Holy cow! I forgot until right now! In the books, when Edward is pleading with Jacob to help him convince Bella to not have the vampire baby he tells Jacob that if Bella wants children that Jacob can father them and Edward will stand aside and let it happen. I can’t believe I forgot that!! Edward actually says Bella and Jacob can have a litter if that’s what makes Bella happy 😂😂😂😂

Bottom line? They’re getting married because Bella wants to have sex before she becomes a vampire - have “all” the human experiences is what Edward wants for her - and Edward, being from the early 1900’s won’t have sex with her unless they’re married. So, she’s willing to go through with marrying him to get what she wants.

Just some clarification: -everyone agrees the cgi baby is the WORST. -everyone also agrees her name is a crime. -Edward injects his venom straight into her heart to give her a better chance at survival. That way the venom doesn’t have to spread from the bite to the heart, and back out into the body. -Edward also bites her where there are major arteries, again, it’s to help speed the venom and ensure she doesn’t die. -imprinting isn’t supposed to be creepy, but it 100% is. Lastly: I can’t believe you guys are only now realizing this is a “romance” 😅 the meltdown over the honeymoon was amazing.

I like the concept of vampires in the vampire diaries more either way but I am so thankful they cannot get pregnant there. (At least not in a natural way) It just does not make sense for me, Edward is dead like how can this even be a possibility.

In general about the movie series: Honestly yes Twilight is obviously about Bella and Edward but wouldve loved a more detailed story on Edwards "family". These characters are way more interesting tbh. Also a more detailed history about the werewolves, literally anything other was more interesting than Edwards and Bellas personalities together. Maybe one movie just about them and Bella as side plot HAHA

This was hilarious! But the explanation for the whole pregnancy is that vampire women's bodies can't expand for a growing baby. Biology men can impregnate women up until they die. They dont need to change. The way the author wrote it from my understanding Vampires in her universe arent dead but living statues or their bodies are frozen in time. If you look at it that way it makes more sense. And yeah the imprinting thing is weird af. Stephanie Meyers weird for that. I dont like the movies but i love the books. If you don't want to read the books there is an ultimate illustrated guide.
