They're surprise after hearing about Varis being a Eunuch (Balls cut off) is basically the result of them not paying attention to the Dialogue on earlier episode (Varis / LF Talk). I hope their clowning around will be toned down in future reactions.

Right here, after I recovered, is when I went to my friends that were deeper into the story and said "OK talk to me more about this" My bad if this was discussed already, but have you two watched any of the episode intros? You learn a lot lookin at those maps! And ever since then, certain shows have tried to copy them. & that Edward Cullen shirt tho!

And the blade is so sharp if you drop silk on it, the silk will split in two like warm butter. The sword never needs to be sharpened. Ever. It’s like magic. Ned’s sword is Valyrian steel and the blade is just sharp today as it was 800 years ago when it was made. The Valyrians all died in a catastrophe 400 years ago. And the knowledge of how to make Valyrian steel was lost. No new blade has been made. But about 4 men (in the entire world) can re-work the existing metal. If you wanted to buy one sword it would cost about as much as a NASA space ship (in our world).

Ned yelled it so that Yoren would look and see her so he could grab her to protect her. You'll hear the Sept of Baelor mentioned in later seasons so I thought I should point out that Nights Watch guy isn't Baelor haha
