At the very least, I feel like sex scenes are more for shock factor at the moment, but as the series continues, they seemed less frequent, and if they did appear, it was directly connected to the character's story in some way not just random naked people. Definitely can skip it if it makes you uncomfortable, but the series is a wild ride in other ways too, with a lot of graphic violence. I'd recommend you guys continue for the sake of the crazy story, but if it's too much for you I get that!

If itβs important, itβs reiterated elsewhere in the show. I know people have told you guys this but the sex scenes are drastically reduced in the next season and thereafter.

2024-05-16 13:44:00 +0000 UTCI for one appreciate that you skip the sex scenes and don't think you should be cajoled to do something you are uncompfortable with (each one is free to have their own standards in terms of watching vs not without being judged or pressured for sticking with their standards). I also skipped these parts when I originally watched GoT and didn't feel like I missed much (I didn't feel any gaps of information that hindered my understanding of the story or characters). You usually can get the gist of what was said through watching the rest of the episode/series. I really enjoy your reactions by the way π

I enjoy checking out new series and new storylines but that is something I am not willing to do. I am fully aware that there are certain aspects of dialogue I may miss if that is the case and I'd love for those who already know what was said to fill me in on that but if I have to miss that then that's a loss I'm willing to take. I gave everyone a heads up in my first reaction during Season 1 but I had no clue it was going to go to some of the lengths that it does if I am being honest. -Adison
