Honestly though Tywin lowkey was doing Tyrion a huge favor if you think about it. He had Tyrion marry Sansa, who is "the key to the North", and if Sansa had just had a baby with Tyrion, she probably could have gone home and Tyrion with her. They would have had Winterfell back and Tyrion would probably have been happier there, too. Idk personally I would have done anything to leave Kings Landing.

listen, this show will take you through a wide range of emotions that you not even sure if you can come back from. A nice break is probably needed to determine your next steps. I will say that Season 4 is a bit of a turnaround and made things fall into place more through each episode. Don't give up on the show guys. There is alot more story to be told.

I do think that short break could be good. But I will say, don't stay away toooo long. In Seasons 4 and 5 (yes, 5) there is MUCH get back and preparation of get back to be had. New characters that are legends in GoT canon that you will meet. The shock and SATISFACTION...is...I don't wanna even hint at spoilers, that's how good it gets. Trust, we alllll understand this feeling. We've been there. Youtube is FULL of reactions as proof - it's because we're human. But man, every time I hear "The Rains of Castamere" it makes me feel some type of way! Hang in there guys.

hope you might give it a few more episodes to decide about continuing, but definitely take care most of all. I've never experienced such low lows and high highs with any other show - the red wedding still gets to me. the characters are so complex and make such an impact. seasons 4 and 6 are my favs - some of the best episodes of tv ever imho.

not sure if you guys even read the comments on these. i had intended on waiting to see if you guys at least start season4 because a lot of people actually quit the show back when it was airing because of the red wedding. but i figured you guys got this far and youre watching house of dragons so surely you arent gonna give up on this... so i decided to give you guys the benefit of the doubt and sign up now. hopefully you guys stick with it. as rough as things get there is good things too. even in the hated season8 there is a lot of good stuff its just didnt go how people expected after years of anticipation and the show having moved past the source material so we go from adapting from great books to some lazy typical tv show writing that fails to live up.

You're not alone -- EVERYONE wants to bail on this show after the Red Wedding. People sob, scream, throw things, say "f this show." It's an insane moment in the story, brutal! But we're not lying when we say it's worth sticking out. There are going to be episodes that get VERY rough and you will want to stop (a few times) but there will also be insanely rewarding episodes that feel like vindication. Plus this show has episodes that hold up as some of the best tv of all time.

There are lots of ups and downs in GoT. There will be points where you'll want to stop watching, and that's understandable. The Red Wedding is definitely the hardest one because of what it is, but in a way that prepares you for the other harder stuff. I recommend at least watching to 4x3.

Agreed - I feel like all the “mistakes” she made was for her children She took Tyrion because she thought they harmed Bran She freed Jamie because she wanted her daughters safe! She was a mother and cared for her children Rob made stupid mistakes based on lust and ego He married Talisa after promising a lord he would marry his daughter (which is how he got Jamie) He killed Karstark cause his ego/he lost his vision and did NOT listen to his advisors He made dumb decisions for himself

I really don't understand the animosity towards Catelyn, when Robb made far worse mistakes, and hers did not lead to his. I especially don't understand the idea that she disrespects him because the only reason she has to listen to him is because he's her king, and as a modern person I don't believe in the legitimacy of that. You'd still better respect your parents as a child though and he ignores her for the sake of his traitor friend Theon, to placate the Karstark's desire for revenge (over his sister's lives), and to get with a girl he likes. It would all make more sense if he was 14 like he is in the books.

I think it’s more complicated than that. You can’t just flat out say Robb wasn’t honorable. He certainly made some mistakes. Some of them he saw as honorable moves as well. Like executing Karstark. This story asks you what honor really means, because people seem to have different ideas of what is prioritized when it comes to “honor.” Robb and Ned basically put protecting innocent children above everything else. Even Ned disrespected his king because Robert wanted teenage Dany killed. He was dumb enough to warn Cersei he knew the truth because he didn’t want her kids killed! Technically it was dishonorable of a Ned to withhold information from King Robert because he wanted to give Cersei a chance to flee. Technically, Ned also chose love over duty and “honor” in the end because he chose to lie about Joffrey in front of the mob in order to give his daughters a chance to live. If he followed through with calling out Joffrey as a bastard, Varys implied that the girls would be killed. And we know now Lannisters are not afraid of killing off kids.

Robb arrests his mother and kills Karstark for making emotional, rash decisions related to the lives of their children. All the while making the most rash decision marrying Talisa and breaking a holy vow. Not to mention ignoring vital advice about not trusting the Greyjoys and not losing the Karstarks. He had this coming for all his bad decisions imo.

Guys you have to dig deeper and really think. Robb was a good king but was not honorable. He did not keep his word and it was it his downfall. Ned would have never!!! If you continue you will see what loyalty means and the key to the entire show.
