An Important Announcement Regarding the Future of my Patreon

Hello everybody, Hefess here.

First off, I wanna thank everyone who has supported me throughout the past few years via my Patreon, you've all played a part in getting me through some tough times.

The reason I set up a Patreon to begin with was to help make ends meet, as I had not been faring too well financially even with a full time job.  Things have changed drastically for the better in the past year, however, as I've gotten a pay raise as well as other sources of income, to the point where I'm more well off than I've ever been in my life.

I still plan to keep using Patreon, but there will be significant changes.  As much as I enjoy a lot of the sketch and drawing requests I've done for you guys, I would like to reopen standard commissions next year as well as get started on other personal projects, both of which I have not had the free time to do due to the responsibilities I had to uphold on my Patreon.  For this reason, as of January 2022, I will no longer be offering commission-based rewards.

I haven't yet decided on what exactly will be replacing these rewards, and I'm certainly open to suggestions, but I wanted to let you all know well ahead of time so you can prepare efficiently.  I will keep the current $10-25 rewards active from now to the end of October.  After that I'll be taking a two-month hiatus to put the changes in effect come January.

I understand this may disappoint some of you, and if you wish to reduce your pledge or unsub entirely at year's end, that's entirely your decision.  Don't feel the slightest bit obligated to stay if you don't want to; knowing you've supported my work for as long as you have means the world to me, which is why I have a little something for my top patrons.

For those of you who have pledged to the $10 and $25 tiers for a year or longer, I plan to set up the Hefess Ambassador Program, in which the discounts on regular commissions will apply to you indefinitely whether you stay pledged or not.  I'll have more details on that later when the time comes.
