My beard is actually brown red and blonde, and a completely different tone from my hair. As a black man it's pretty awkward, especially when in the military I was accused if dying and highlighting my beard and made a spectacle by them making me shave and literally watching it grow back day to day😂(beards aren't common in the military normally but you can have them for religious or medical reasons)

If you have parents or family with red hair and you have brown hair, the red gene still expresses itself… brown is just more visible and covers it up. Except in certain conditions like sunlight which catches the reds better!
