* The title of the episode, "Nebraska", refers to the fact that Dave and Tony said that they were heading to Nebraska due to the fact that it has a low population and plenty of guns as well as hearing of a possible safe zone. * Interestingly enough, The Walking Dead: Worlds Beyond takes place in Nebraska * The episode's exact runtime is 00:43:00. * This is the first episode made entirely under the leadership of Glen Mazzara, who replaced his former boss and Walking Dead creator, Frank Darabont, as showrunner after Darabont was fired the previous summer. * Dave mentions having tried to get to a refugee camp near Washington, D.C. This may be an early reference to the Alexandria Safe Zone where Rick's Group settles in Season 5 * When Dale shares his suspicions about Shane with Lori, he says, "I knew guys like him." This could possibly be an oblique reference to Dale's military background in the comics. * This is the first time Rick has directly killed a human in the TV series. * The song played at the end of the episode is The Regulator by Clutch * In the Netflix version of the episode, when Maggie tells Rick about Patton's Bar, the subtitles call it Hatlin's Bar.

He is so obsessed with Lori and Carl being his...nothing good can come from him. Now with the pregnancy news hes going to get so much worse. Poor Daryl grieving. So heartbreaking. He really had Faith hed find Sophia. With the upbringing he had it's no surprise he lashed out at Olive Oyl. Still can't stand Lori, Andrea, or Shane. Imagine how the group dynamics would improve without their drama. Thanks for churning these out guys! Love your reactions!

I’ve noticed you guys tend to talk through Carol’s scenes. Not sure why, but you really should break the habit, you’re missing out on a great character!

I think people can love the idea of someone and what they show to you when y’all first meet, but how can you truly be in love with someone you don’t fully know? Just my take on that 😅. I think he believes he is but he barely knows her outside of what Rick confided in him about their marriage previously. And Lori made her choice multiple times- she chooses Rick every time. He isn’t owed a relationship w/her and “new daddy” title bc he looked out for them for almost 6 weeks.

This show can be quite heavy on dialogue that IS important to hear to understand what's going on. It can be admittedly frustrating to ask questions that you'd know the answer to if you hadn't talked over dialogue.

Yes Eventually Rick will have to make decisions similar to Shane to survive, you are a thousand percent correct. I believe that BUTTT Shane is and was already a psychopath. Shane acted as if this world allowed him to let the beast out. Shane already had interest in Lori(both of them) and Shane already had that hot head, I’m a bad ass hard core tempter and thought Rick was soft just like Lori said on season 1. That’s why Shane was quiet and distance to Rick when he saw him alive. Shane is dangerous and reckless. Only a good hearted person would not be so quick to remember life and having hope, not full on terminator mode showing you who you always been. Shane was the dirty cop and Rick was the hero and Jealousy, entitlement, combative, narcissistic and argumentative behavior is going to get you killed. You can be smart and delusional at the same time. Shane is a bum and needs to die period, he’ll get everybody killed or kill them his self and stand over the graves saying……yall made me do it, yall didn’t listen now your all dead cuz yall gave me no choice. 😳😳 TFFFF

Rick truly loves Lori while Shane is trauma-bonded to Lori, the difference is the amount of respect, Shane was told to back off now that Rick is back & instead of backing off he almost sa’s Lori, tracks Rick in the crosshairs of his gun & has been opposing Rick every step of the way. Rick has been understanding of the trauma bond between Shane & Lori, let Lori choose if she wanted carl saved & the decision about keeping the baby & hershel around (I’m not going to say why Rick is adamant about needing hershel for the baby cause it might be a spoiler). Rick has let Lori know how he felt the situations, his thoughts & his motives while also letting Lori say her piece & even though he didn’t agree with Lori he still respected her & didn’t go off half cocked. Shane may be right on certain things like the barn but his approach is unstable, dangerous & straight up disrespectful. One of the things to love about this show is the differing opinions from everyone & no one is completely wrong or right. I do think the baby is Shane’s though, this is a very tricky situation 😅

Dale's isn't dangerous just a disturbance if he can get the rest on his side. Otherwise the rest will fall in line and follow Shane. Finally Shane will live happily ever with Lori raising Carl and Shane Jr.
