I don’t blame her for not wanting to be the one to confront Shane, especially since his behaviour has become even more erratic since that incident. Lori is no saint at all, and definitely has her villian moments but I think she’s one of the only people (other than Dale) who know what Shane is capable of and I truly think she was just trying to make Rick see that as he’s the only one who can probably stop him.

If she keeps quiet about what she knows then she will be lying. I give her props for telling Rick the truth about everything. The thing that gets me is those that don’t like it on the farm can easily just leave, but they don’t lol

He's seeing just how dangerous these creatures are and for the first time, he calls them "walkers." His full acceptance moment right there.

Dale should have warned Rick especially after Otis death was confirmed with him. And that wasn't too long after Rick got back.

(BC before Christ, lol) And when Brandon said don't slam my door. It took back to my childhood days. I could just hear my my Momma Ruby say "are you going stay in or go back outside to play ... and don't slam my door" I was hollering laughing. Thanks for that Brotha Geech! 👊🏽

Example at the CDC, AFTER Shane almost assaulted her, she said to leave her and her family alone, and the proceeded to bother and pester Shane about being short with Carl. Just kind of a hypocrite

These are powers women have, some use it for good some use it for bad. (We are magical lol) Plus Shane is a lurker/stalker! No need to be super loud and obvious. We hate Lori but Rick loves her so it wouldn't have hit as hard if anyone else had told Rick.

2025-02-21 05:41:53 +0000 UTCI see both sides she did it in what seems like a manipulative way but also it was good awareness to Rick. It’s manipulative because going back to season one she always wanted Rick to be riled up, she felt like he never had a crash out. Rick is always reasonable, understanding and willing to listen which makes what she is doing a way to manipulate him and make him aware of the severity of the situation. My only real problem with Rick (that later changes in later seasons) is that he loved the people close to him that he doesn’t question them but rather make excuses for them. Lori is one of the people, which is expected since that is his wife but he loved Shane like a brother so he made excuses and ignored his red flag. But he gets so much better with that throughout this season and later seasons.

Her tone is the same, maybe a lil low bc anyone could walk by while she’s airing out all the things Shane’s done. Should she shout it? Plus she’s right next to his ear, can’t be talkin loud. I think she’s trying to make Rick aware of how Shane’s unraveling. You notice in the beginning of the convo Rick just acted like Shane’s harmless- almost dismissive. But this is stuff Lori’s peeped for weeks now. He needs to be cautious when dealin w/Shane.
