The Walking Dead 4X2 RAW REACTION

Happy Monday !!! Here is access to the Uncut Reaction: The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 2.

Featuring:

🎬 Adison & Brandon

— Adison

Comments

* When Rick checks his revolver before holstering it, there are no primers in his cartridges. * When Glenn wakes up in the prison you can see two chairs leaning against the walls behind him when he stands up. These are still present in the second shot, but when the camera moves back for the third shot they have mysteriously disappeared.

Austin

* The title of the episode, "Infected", refers to the prison residents being infected with the unknown flu. * The episode's exact runtime is 00:42:59. * It is revealed in S4EP14 "The Grove" that Lizzie was the unknown person feeding the walkers at the start of the episode. * The song Tyreese sings to Karen is Frank Sinatra's "I've Got You Under My Skin". * The song Beth sings to Judith is Tom Waits' "I Don't Wanna Grow Up". * Michonne asks Carl why he doesn't wear his hat. Carl responds because it's not a farming hat. In S4EP16 "A", there is a flashback that has Rick taking the hat after it falls off of Carl's head and he states that he needs a farming hat. * In S8EP9 "Honor", when a dying Carl gives the hat to Judith, he informs her that the hat made him feel safe. The fact that he's not wearing the hat meant that he felt safe.

Austin

Great show as always, I think they should have took over the town of newberry instead of the prison. Clea. Ner and fresh air

Corey Wynn

It's amazing what can keep a baby occupied. A plastic solo cup, lol. Judith was having a funky good time. She is so cute.

Camillionaire

Scary Potter ... aka Harry Potter reject 🤣🤣

Camillionaire

She grabbing her by the dreds she think this is a street fight, lol.

Camillionaire

Not gonna lie watching something happen and seeing the gears in Brandon’s brain turning when he starts piecing stuff together it’s great lol he took a cool few seconds to really think about it and was like waiiiiitaminuteeee 😂😂

Rockstar818

Patrick came in the room and said “aye brotha an Adam’s Apple a day keep the hunger away we out here and I’m hungry” 😂😂😂

Rockstar818

I’m thinking the virus possibly mutated due to the reanimation process (when the dead wake) Anyway all of them are already infected with wildfire aka zombie virus like the CDC Dude said it’s completely airborne everyone on earth got infected in a span of a week, so if a particular type of swine flu bonded to the wildfire virus it’s possible that it makes it even far more contagious than your average swine flu essentially creating a completely new virus so just being around the bleeding walkers makes you exposed

Austin Hogan

Carol was insane this season

trexgod 25gaming

No, I think definitely not. "Whether the parents like it or not." I always like to envision everything that will take place to a person ballsy enough to walk up to a parent(s) and say, "Fear not, dear parents! For I, Jon-Bob III am here! I've taken it upon myself using my infinite wisdom, to inform you on what your children both have to learn, and have to do! I came to this conclusion regarding your children for you, in your place. You'll be pleased to also know, that I decided your preferences on the matter are irrelevant. Why, you ask? Who am I to override your judgment regarding your own children...? I'm Jon-Bob III, and because I decided it's what's best! Fear not, and thank me profusely later for my decisions on your behalf!" The approach is inexcusable and beyond audacious. Largely because had Carol went around to all the children's actual parents, explained the situation, shared her story and her desire to keep it from happening to someone else, explained what she wanted to teach, etc? Most if not all of then would've agreed and gave permission. Then she could've ran it by the counsel as a courtesy and also as a way to get different perspectives for how to improve her initial idea. Then everybody's happy, in the loop and consenting. Instead she took on roles and responsibilities by force through deception that were never hers to take in the first place. She didn't even TRY to do it the right way, first. Her initial instinct was that her own perceptions and decisions held more weight and authority than the actual parents of those children. That's not a good thing. Because character traits like that (not only thinking you know better, but acting on it too) rarely ever express themselves in ONLY ONE way or in one place. Those traits will be displayed often and frequently, ranging between heavily or lightly. Sometimes only a little bit with unimportant/harmless matters, and sometimes in gigantic ways with super important/very serious situations. Living with people who have that type of psyche is hard. Because you can overlook and justify the behavior when it's expressed in small ways. But eventually something big happens because of it, and it can't be overlooked or justified anymore.

Lauren Nicole

Adison don't be mixing Hershel and Merle specials up! lol Arms are Merle special Legs is Hershel special

Fellerz

Welcome to Season 4 Dread and insaneness 🤣🤣 have fun

trexgod 25gaming

I got a disagree again lol. Kids gotta learn self defense whether the parents like it or not, and without a Rick figure telling them that's the way it is...then she has to do it in secret. 💯 Though, Carol shouldn't have let Lizzie take the knife to put down her dad, that wasn't the right call. She could have died, it was stupid. Definitely trauma is interfering with her head. She might be their only option at this point tho sadly :( rip Sophia...you were one of the last standing in the comics.

Usgosudi Wahya-Gihli

Longer than 30 days, it's just been thirty days since the last accident. Judith is full toddler now. I agree, or sheets of metal, wood...something

Usgosudi Wahya-Gihli

I'm kind of thinking Adison looks like Tyresse because of their eyes....😂😂

Mikaevee

lol i’m glad somebody brought this up that reaction was priceless

jasmin

it was a good time to introduce a outbreak like that cause it makes sense with more folks in this enclosed space

jasmin

There’s a serious lack of organization, innovation, and foresight going on. Ain’t no Virgos/Taurus’ amongst this group? 😆 🤦🏾‍♀️

Montae Williams

The zombies are attracted to the prison in droves now because of the noise / smell. There’s no reason for a volunteer only basis to clear the fence. They brought at least 30-40 people from Woodbury. There should be a schedule implemented for that. And there are bricks/ building materials so once those spikes are put up now there’s room to start fortifying it- make it a wall instead of just a fence. And they’ve had 30 days to do so too. This would be helpful when it comes to being under attack too.

Montae Williams

This episode is sooo good. The emotional depth and nuance is done flawlessly and I really hope y'all picked up on the gravity of the emotional weight this one has. The Rick/Carl moments as well as Michonne with baby Judith. Very important episode.

Constantdev

Also, the side eye Brandon gives Adison when he thinks Adison isn't taking something serious enough is SO funny to me 😂

Sabrina

around 13:00 yu can see rick reach for his gun and realize its not there . sheesh man forever a goated episode so much emotion

NorthhSZN

Re locking the cells - yep. It's a problem everywhere cuz folks can die all of a sudden anytime and take folks out. TWD added this "danger always with us" problem. There will always be new walkers. So how to figure that out?

EliG

There shouldn't be any sneaking around parent's backs, but there also shouldn't have been the option to say no. I'm saying this as a parent myself! Weapons training should be mandatory for every single adult and child. If you don't agree then you need to find a new home. You can't stay with my group and refuse to be prepared and putting lives at risk. Her mistake was not taking this proposal to Rick. She needs his permission more than the parents atp. Carl is such a cool little dude.

Sabrina

Damn i forgot about this part 🤣

kingBD

"Done Jerry dirty!" - that was good Roger.

EliG

Ok Addison you hit that lil note lol

Kristen

Bit of a spoiler .. to the best character in the show lol id say prob just let em see without any huge hints but that's just me. I mean I agree but lol

Jeremy Dunfee

Pleurisy is an inflammation of the pleura (lining of your lungs). It is painful and makes breathing difficult. Aspiration simply means to breathe in a foreign object (i.e. food, water, etc.). In this case the person was ill to the point of breathing in mucus and blood and he drowned in it. It is an exceedingly unpleasant way to pass. Still loving your WD reactions! ❤️

Linda

Like Jen explained in an earlier comment....pleurisy is inflammation of the tissues that line the lungs and chest cavity. Infections, such as the flu, and certain medications can cause pleurisy. Aspiration means inhaling food, liquid, or other material into the lungs instead of the stomach. This can happen during swallowing, or when stomach contents travel back up the esophagus and into the airway. Aspiration can lead to serious health issues like pneumonia. A thoracentesis (also known as pleural aspiration or pleural tap) is done for pleural effusion, not aspiration. A thoracentesis is a procedure to withdraw fluid or air from the pleural space, or around the lungs. You basically insert a large bore needle in the chest wall and the air/fluid will rush out. So, pneumonia or the flu could cause aspiration and/or pleurisy but thoracentesis is a way to improve breathing and test the fluid to determine the illness and treatment. They have nothing they need to treat any of it so it's a difficult place to be. It's crazy how they've been so caught up with Walkers and evil people trying to kill the group.....they completely forgot about normal ailments.

Jessica Houser

I'm not mad at what Carol was doing other than not telling the parents. This is a zombie apocalypse. Aint no more being a kid if they want to survive. If they encounter a zombie, they have to know how to get busy or at least try, especially if they are with someone who died and they need to put that knife in their head.

Menia Battle

The absolute confusion on both y’all’s faces when Lizzy opened her mouth, talking in riddles. 😭😂 I swear I heard both y’all’s brains cracking all the way from Europe, tryna make sense of WTH she just said.

Tyrademi

I've said the same thing. Rick and Daryl both had a set of keys. Daryl doesn't sleep in a cell so if they locked everyone in at night he could let them out. There's no guarantee that someone won't die of natural causes in the middle of the night. It's safer to be locked in...and its always going to feel like a prison either way. I agree with you completely.

Jessica Houser

Haha don’t do that!! Mica was cool lol.. Lizzy tho.. I can’t wait till they see

Erynn Charlss

Mica (the little sister) is stronger and mentally stronger and more prepared then her older sister Lizzy (the lover of walkers)

Erynn Charlss

Wait until you see the manifestation of Carol throughout the series!

Erynn Charlss

Adison you are totally right, those are some nice little girls

HBK713🏄🏾‍♂️

how do you govern it without making folks feel like they live in a prison... I mean, they do... shit realistically, maybe you lock each cell block down and 1 person has a key. every night you get locked in... til you figure it out better. But. at the end of the day. y'all do live in a prison. And... bc it's a prison lol for those same qualities. know your advantages. It works cause it's a prison. so run it like a prison, to some extent. You can try to make it a LIL more laid back but if folks get all uppity lol do you all not know the situation we're in? do you know where we are rn? This ain't no game here lol. We can't just let folks run all around as they please. Use what you have to your advantage lol run it like a prison. just a .... very low security prison with stricter nightly protocol.

Jeremy Dunfee

Michonne holding little Judith and crying 😢

sierra's reaction corner

I’m wondering why they didn’t put spikes around the fence like they have by the front gate.

NS

don't spoil lol

julia

"Look at the flowers, Lizzie" freaked me out. dang... Also, H1N1 influenza, I believe, is a swine flu that happened before this was filmed and aired. Historically, the Black Plague was transmitted by fleas on rodents. The inciting incident in this episode is a reminder that people can get sick and die from something contagious. Parents should know what Carol is doing. Parents should prepare their kids to be able to put them down if they get bitten. If the parents don't agree, then parents need to make plans on who will protect their kids in the event of their demise & teach their kids how to handle the trauma of losing their parents. I wish Carol worked with the other leaders on what she was teaching. Daryl could be teaching everyone how to track.

Rindamarie

Tyrese's size doesn't matter, it doesn't have anything to do with the way he feels about seeing someone he knew die. Especially with the fact that it brought up feelings about not being able to have the normal depth of human relationships (his lines abt acquaintances). Big men have feelings too and you cant blame him for not being numb, it's been what, a day or two?

TheMelodicRage

This episode is a soft intro to #Scarol

where_is_t

Hey guys, I don't mind my kid learning to how to kill walkers but I would want to know about it. Carol is having these kids keep a secret from their parents and that is not right. My heart always breaks when Rick take the piglets out and sacrificed them. RIP Charlotte Rodney Willie. We got a mystery on our hands guys. Who killed Karen and David? And why, especially when they was already in quarantine? As for who I would take on a run, and not the big 3, it would be Sasha Carl Glenn. Hugs for Michonne and the trauma of her pass.

Cleo Griffith

yup and that’s why they showed the pig dead near the end of episode 1, i think lol. i’m just wondering how patrick got it first and not rick or carl or something

vanessa

Hey Adison hey Brandon the chat had good questions about Carol and teaching the children how to use weapons I myself totally agree with Carol to teach the children how to use weapons they're living in a world where children need to know how to use weapons as much as adults does I'm talking about children Carl age need to know that because they may be in a situation where their parents are not around and they have to save themselves and for the three people I will take out for runs would be Glenn Carl and Carol Michonne has been going out looking for the governor that is her mission she may find things along the way to bring back but her whole thing about going out is to find the governor I'm with Adison on that you can't rest really rest with the governor still out there knowing what kind of person he is good reactions always I love the chat questions I hope you guys do the next episode really soon until next time ❤️

Queen S

Broooooooo I’m so hype my question didn’t get cut from this!!!!!!!!! ☺️🥳 thanks fellas 🙌🏽

Tiffany

Most people when they've reacted to this obviously think of Covid, but when this storyline aired, this was actually based on that swine flu pandemic that happened a few years prior to this in the late 2000s/early 2010s...

Ash Lee Can

i was shook in the beginning…who TF is feeding those walkers?!?! and here we go with tyrese complaining again like oh my gawddddd buck tf up man lol it’s just hard to process bc of his size i know big guys can be teddy bears but this is the apocalypse. stahp it lmao the action scene was nice. sad we lost so many people but they got wayyyyy to comfortable. you cannot let you guard down at all bc all it takes is one person dying. it was 1 walker and look how much damage was caused! everyone should have had their doors closed period. they should be closing all the doors especially at night when people are sleeping and their guard is down. maggie and glenn’s love is so pure and heartwarming to watch. especially with all the dark shit going on. it’s refreshing. i love their lil moments like her kissing his hand. look how far my babies have come 😭 y’all’s face was my face when lizzie was sad over “nick” lol mikah (or however you spell her name) killed me tho talking about “you’re so stupid” and then called her messed up 😂 lil girls get it together michonnes face when she held judith 🥺 the affect judith has on people is so beautiful. baby’s are so pure you have to let your guard down when holding them. you can’t be angry or hateful. even when maggie came back from being held hostage beth gave judith to her and maggie started crying.

courtney

Pleurisy and aspiration are two different things. Aspiration is something going into the lungs that shouldn’t like food, drink or blood. Pleurisy is inflammation around the lungs. Herschel is saying those two things killed him. You put both together when you googled them which is something different.

Jen M

it’s not a spoiler it’s just apart of rick’s character. he is complicated and conflicted (like jax from soa). they’re both very black and white and have a hard time finding that middle ground like you said. if it doesn’t make sense to them or fall outside their own internal code, they struggle.

courtney

“That’s gone fall out!” 😂😭😂😭 crine!!! 😆

Jen M

Rick isn’t the only person that became cold, Carole is too

Erikka_reacts

The thing about Rick is that you'll notice ( and I promise this isn't a spoiler) he is not a gray character. It's either black or white with him hot or cold he has trouble finding a middle ground to encompass both parts of him

kelly beauchane

Was just speaking on this, Glooks twin

Jcyn

Love how they pump faked us at the start, cliche horror trope

Demon Rick

Aye back at it with the 🚶 💀

Connor Lewis
