Sure, it makes sense because the group has been through a LOT, but that doesn't mean Alexandra, or it's inhabitants, are any less real or valid. The place IS sensitive and fragile but that doesn't mean it's not something real. They're still saying all of this because of their trauma, and have not yet formed any bonds and/or attachments to the place, because once they do, they'll realize just how real, and valid Alexandria is. Carol IS a kid magnet. On a spiritual level, she has unresolved karma with children and keeps attracting them to learn how to be a "better" mother until she learns her lesson. Plus she understands them so well! The words she chose to use while threatening Sam were graphic enough for a kid Sam's age to understand without going *too* far

Sasha losin her mind like a typical angry negress, and Michonne tryna hang up her sword like she got a retirement plan. Girl please. They givin these jungle savages wine and cookies like this the BET Awards. Only one with sense is Carol. She told that lil boy straight up, you snitch on me, I’ll feed you to the walkers. That’s the kind of black mama discipline I respect. Whole episode was just monkeys in a zoo pretendin to be civilized. Alexandria too good for them. Tear it all down and build a nice Cracker Barrel.

The apocalypse brought out Shane’s organic self to the surface, while its forced Rick to suppress his. Which is why it’s taken longer for Rick to get here and it’s not a good place to be. Rick is reckless and lacks impulse control. And he can’t get people behind him. Daryl, Rick’s #2 is like, “I don’t want to do this” and I appreciate that Rick respects it but it should tell him something. Rick could only tell two people his plan, one backed out and the other murdered two innocent people for the minuscule chance it could save the group and is traumatizing a child. Lol

Credit where it is wherever you consider it to be, he undeniably became Shane when he arrived at Alexandria, whether you believe it was last or this episode (IMO Shane was ahead of his time). To me personally, Rick at this point in time is Shane at the farm or at least Shane in this situation. So I agree with you and for the memes I’ll leave you with this…. “ you know something???? Let me tell you something man🤨.”😂😂😂😂😂😂

Like I said for what I felt the last episode tried to emphasize was that Rick’s Shane now and his group is his family and the people of Alexandria are like Hershel and the group at the farm. Shane shaved his head the night they arrived at the farm and Rick shaved his beard the day they arrived at Alexandria. Shane mentioned trying to take over the farm from Hershel and Rick mentioned possibly taking over the community. This episode emphasizes to me that Rick is or is similar to Shane emotionally as well and while everyone in his “family” seem to be letting their guard down and accepting the community more Rick isn’t really.

Offering haircuts and trying to met his kids. She never once said anything about a husband until he basically cornered later that night. Rick is suffering PTSD and living in this community in a house is not helping his situation. I mean this man went to the fence to get that connection to the outside world from the walker on the other side. Rick is not handling being behind the walls all that well. My girl Sasha needs a hug. She and Rick is really going through it. You all see Michonne hanged her Katana up? She's really trying for Judith and Carl. Wow 3 more episodes to go and we're in S6. Rolling right along.

2025-06-21 03:36:27 +0000 UTCJust wanted to add on that when Aaron was talking to Daryl in the woods he wasn't saying that the people in Alexandria are literally afraid of him. He was relating his and Eric's situation to Daryl's because they're both outsiders in different ways. People can act funny and unintentionally alienating around people they see as "different". For Aaron and Eric, it's because they're gay and for Daryl it's because he's wild in many ways, more comfortable outside the walls of their communities. I think it's a pretty unique and beautiful way to form a connection between 2 very unlikely people for this world! Aaron and Daryl's friendship/team-up is one of my favorite things to come out of this new era in their lives.
