I definitely think Deanna has Dawn energy when it comes to Pete. BUT she isn't as bad as Dawn overall as I don't believe for a moment she would be having slaves and allowing men just raping women. I don't believe she knows her son got the group killed, she would have pulled him off of runs. But I know she wouldn't have exiled him that's for sure. She turns a blind eye towards her children. She has flaws and she allows some evil and death to happen under her watch. I love Morgan ❤️ though I don't always agree with him, I love the guy

I have never seen Rick and Shane as the same. I believe Rick eventually got to the mindset that Shane had been on from the jump. I believe they'd be in sync for some things, but Shane would be more paranoid than Rick, more forceful than Rick. Shane had good points but he executed them wrong, or made decisions for others. He'd need to be willing to trust the group and work together for Rick and him to really be able to be a good team again.

Granted, they probably mainly did it because Sonequa was very pregnant at the time, so they had to try to cover up that baby bump as much as possible(and she was looking probably 3rd trimester by the end of the season laying in that pile of wallers with the giant baby bump 😆). Shout out to her because I've never been pregnant, but don't if I could do it fully clothed, carrying a sniper rifle around, walking on hot asphalt, walking in the wood fulll of irritating insects, and just sweating all over the place wearing dirty clothes, makeup, fake blood, probably other cosmetic stuff they have to ait for hours to get put and then walk around with it on for several hours in the the Georgia heat, especially while being that far along 😭. I'd just go sit down somewhere lol. One thing I do wish they'd done was have Sasha keep and wear Tyrese's cap, so she'd be seen keeping a piece of her brotger with her like ahe does with Bob, and it just be an ongoing thing she does when she loses someone really close with her...

I loved how Maggie showed Gabriel grace, and how she sat both him and Sasha down to pray together. It was such a powerful moment—especially since earlier this season, she admitted she wasn’t sure if she had any faith left. But now, we see that she’s slowly regained it. She recognized that these were two people who were deeply hurting and in need of guidance, and she stepped in to be there for them. Sasha had just lost Tyreese and Bob, and Maggie had lost both Beth and Hershel. And Gabriel—he had originally come to comfort her, but she shut him out because of what he’d done. In the end, though, it’s Maggie who reaches out to him. And I feel that act of forgiveness and compassion wasn’t just for Gabriel and Sasha; it was healing for her too. In that moment, she didn’t just find her faith again… she found Hershel’s faith, and carried it forward.

Exactly. The reason Michonne knows is because that was her. Michonne's already been in that mental space way before everyone else. Hell, we MET her in that mental space. When Michonne , she wasn't just making a decision to not be alone anymore, but to be involved with the community and her people. She said she was done taking breaks and she meant it. That's why she got MVP for the season for me. Her motivations for fighting for the group's humanity and it's something that's not only a proper continuation if her season 4 story arc season 4, finally deciding to stop looking for The Governor, to losing the prison(and Hershel) and taking off on her own literally the next day, to having her epiphany in her camo herd and closing to find her people and finding Rick/Carl, deciding to make herself more personable and vulnerable to the people she cared about and opened up, looked after both Rick/Carl, still trying to keep hope for something better for them and her people iutside of survival(and vengeance in her case), whether Terminus, Richmond, or especially since she missed her opportunity of living with a roof over her head and truly part of the community with the prison, but she used this season to execute her full intergration for the long haul, including fully stepping up in her role in leadership, even over Rick, to collectively benefit(save) everyone and their lives to build a real future. So, while the whole group hit their bottom during their travels, Michonne was the one equipped to help the rest because had long hit hers and has come on the otherside of it...

This was a great episode. You all have officially met the wolves. They was the ones who ran through Noah's community. I don't think the wolves and the r8piest people at terminus was the same. The wolves would just kill you not eat you. That was indeed Michonne's Katana that Pete used on Reg. R.I.P. Reg I really liked him. So yes Pete went into Rick and Michonne's house. I'm so glad she put it back where it belongs on her back. So yeah Pete was in the house while carl and Judith was home alone. Those 3 walkers that Rick killed is the same ones that Aaron was telling Daryl that him Adien and Nicolas took away. Brandon I'm with you I blame Morgan for letting those guys go to do what they did to red poncho guy. And now they have Aaron's bag! Bring on S6.

The Shane/Rick comparison is interesting. Rick HAS to be this way, which he has learned through his experiences. Shane was like that from jump because that's who he's always been. Glenn slick the strongest person in this show. To have your enemy in your clutches knowing this mane would do less harm dead and still don’t kill him? The restraint to not do it. That’s season 2 Dale speaking to him. He’s def patient too cuz Rick would never. I love that the group is filled with various personality types that balance each other out. To give Nicholas another chance right after he shot you, beat you up and caused you to witness the traumatic event of Noah dying. Yeah, another level of strength right there. Glenn is very empathetic when it comes to those offending him. Now if it had been Maggie Nicholas done wrong, he might have sung a different tune. He don’t play about Hershel Greene’s daughter. Lord, not Carol telling Rick to wait. I mean she probably didn’t expect Rich to get killed, but she knew they had to witness Pete crashing out for the Alexandrian’s to get the picture. Rip to Rich tho. I didn’t like that Rick and Carol were plotting to take some people out if it didn’t go their way, but I get refusing not wanting to go back on the road. Carol is probably the most dangerous cuz lady is a chameleon. She’s manipulate and use her soft looks to her advantage. A cunning and smart woman is just as dangerous as a man. Wait for your moment, don’t create something you can’t fully control. Carol is the MVP of the group after arriving to Alexandria. Rick/Sasha are tied with crash out moments 😂. Daryl is just great as always.

The part where Brandon said "a certain level of evil needs to be met with a certain level of force" is true on so many levels. Frantz Fanon, a well known anti-colonial figure in history, wrote about this extensively in his book The Wretched of the Earth which is largely about the relationship between the colonizer and the colonized. We can also look further back into history at certain events such as the Haitian Revolution, Nat Turner's Rebellion, John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry and various African independence movements on the continent. Evil was met with force and resistance in all of this in the most extreme circumstances. This can all be connected to folks like Malcolm X and Robert F. Williams and the Deacons for Defense (see "Negros With Guns" book) ) which then leads us to the Black Panther Party for Self Defense years later in the late 60s after Malcolm's assassination. Fast forward to today we can look at the Palestinian liberation movement and their resistance against Israeli occupation, genocide, and colonialism which has been happening since 1948 after Europeans (Zionists) invaded Palestine to create the settler state of Israel. History is so much fun to study and there are TONS examples of evil being met with force. For our TWD brethren, they're gonna need every bit of force to respond to what's about to go down in season's 6 & 7. Buckle up. The show kinda gets boring in the immediate aftermath after next saga is complete.

And the Improvement from Shane. As Andrea once told Shane “ have you ever considered a lighter touch? You’ve been making the right calls, but it’s your presentation that leaves something to be desired.” And what bob saying “No this is a nightmare, and Nightmares end.” This group is his family and unlike Shane he takes their advice. I’m pretty sure Carol did want it to happen because when she found out, Pete was abusive and told Rick they both knew at some point it would go from beating to killing. After Carol threatened Pete (someone abusive like her husband) and Rick fighting him and causing those events to occur to him push him over the edge. Instead of flat out killing him for being abusive as they originally wanted to do Carol saw a better opportunity here and wanted Rick to let it happen to basically say “let Pete prove our point.” Hence her lack of surprise.

Then Morgan show up with that stick like a peaceful slave tryin to talk sense into Nat Turner. “Rick?” Boy, turn around and go back to doin tai chi with raccoons. Morgan does a lot of bouncing between the main show, and Fear The Walking Dead. I think you guys should watch that series too. It’s personally my favorite of the franchise.
